2019 What A Year!

With every year there are ups and downs, triumphs and challenges. I guess that is how we grow each day, learn from mistakes and challenge ourselves to do better. This was such a wonderful year for me and my family and I wanted to share some highlights with all of you. Thank you again for following along with me. This March will be my 12th year blogging and I swear it only gets better with time. I am so very thankful for all of you who follow along, read my blog posts, comment, follow me on FB, IG, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest. Without you I would not have had some of the amazing opportunities I had this year and with that said I am eternally grateful for all of you. Happy New Year and I can't wait to see what 2020 brings!

January:

We got to see a screening of The LEGO Movie 2 before it hit theaters and interview Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Tiffany Haddish, Will Arnett and more.  It was an incredible 24 hours!  You can click here to read more.

February:

February was crazy!  We got to see a screening for HTTYD The Hidden World and I was invited to DreamWorks Animation Studios.  It was seriously a dream come true.  I was able to meet some of the stars from the movie and it was a day I will never forget.  You can read more here.

We also had so much fun at Disney On Ice and Kennedy and Carter even got to be part of the show!  They were ecstatic.  You can read more about it here.

Kennedy got her small intestines twisted again.  She had to have surgery and we were at Valley Children's Hospital for 7 days.  This was probably the worst thing that happened to us this year.  Kennedy is doing well.  She goes for check ups at Valley Children's Hospital and sees a specialist, but it is something we deal with every single day.  We have to watch Kenndy's diet, everything she eats, test her bowel movements, etc.  Please continue to always keep her in your prayers.  You can't live without your small intestine and after two surgeries for twisted intestines she only has a certain amount left and can't afford to lose any more.  You can click here to read more.

We went to Disneyland and had the most magical time!  Click here to find out what you can't miss this holiday season at Disneyland and DCA!

I think one of my biggest highlights of December was my giveaway a day.  I had this idea that I wanted to give back this holiday season and as a family we have been blessed with so much and we are constantly receiving toys to review, DVD's to watch, exclusive PR packages, and more.  So I had this idea that I wanted to give back the entire month of December.  Each morning I shared an item and how you could win that day.  I picked a winner each night before bed and mailed out the item the next morning.  I gave away gift cards, toys, two laptops, a cell phone, a family 4 pack of tickets to a Kidz Bop concert, and so much more!  It was truly amazing and I was so happy I could give back this holiday season.

As you can see, it has been an amazing year. I am so thankful for the opportunities I have had, the travel, the companies that I have worked with, and that I have turned this into a full time job. There is nothing better than working from home and doing something I truly love. Thank you again for following along and I can't wait to see what 2020 has in store for me and my family.
