Dora And The Lost City Of Gold

Eva Longoria (she plays Dora's mom) and Director James Bobin

Yesterday we were invited to a private screening of Dora And The Lost City Of Gold.  It was a great movie and the kids loved it.  Carter is almost 8 and Kennedy is 5 and they understood the entire movie and laughed and loved every minute of it.  The kids have grown up watching Dora, so it was very fun seeing it come to life on the big screen.

The movie is about Dora, who has spent most of her life exploring the jungle, but nothing could prepare Dora for her most dangerous adventure yet... high school. Accompanied by a ragtag group of teens and Boots the monkey, Dora embarks on a quest to save her parents while trying to solve the seemingly impossible mystery behind a lost Incan civilization.

Recliner movie seats and blankets!  The kids loved it!

I loved in the movie that Dora never changes who she is for anyone. She teaches kids to always remember to stay true to who you are.

After the screening we were treated to an amazing lunch, crafts for the kids, games, and time to visit with the cast of the movie.  It was an amazing day!

Isabela Moner who plays Dora in the movie.  The kids were very concerned why her hair was so different from the movie when they met her today.  Carter wanted to know where her bangs went!  It was too cute.

Eugenio Derbez plays Alejandro

Jeff Wahlberg plays Diego, Dora's cousin.

Michael Pena plays Cole, Dora's dad.

Eva Longoria plays Elena, Dora's mom.

Today my sister came with me and the kids to the event.  It was so nice to share this experience with her and show her the fun side of my work!  Your best friend just does not enjoy the great moments in your life with you... They help create them!  Thank you Ashley for helping with the kids today and keeping me company in the car.  I love you!

Thank you so much for the swag bags!  New toys, treats, and snacks always make the drive home so much fun!
