The Addams Family Movie Premiere

On Sunday we were invited to the premiere of The Addams Family. It was a spooktacular event! There was a purple carpet for the cast of the movie and other stars to walk on. We even got to walk the purple carpet. There was a DJ, dancing, delicious food and drinks, a slime station, a dry ice station, a cake pop station, a caricature station, face painting, and so much more. The kids had the best time. The entire event was completely decorated for Halloween and for The Addams Family movie. It was so great. We love Halloween and loved seeing this movie. It was really nice because I got to bring the entire family including Blake's parents. We had so much fun. The movie will be in theaters this Friday, October 11th so take the whole family and get ready for a spooktacular time!

I have never seen an episode of The Addams Family, but I do know the very popular theme song and was so excited to see the movie. It really puts you in the Halloween spirit! The movie is about members of the mysterious and spooky Addams family, Gomez, Morticia, Pugsley, Wednesday, Uncle Fester and Grandma are readily preparing for a visit from their even creepier relatives. But trouble soon arises when shady TV personality Margaux Needler realizes that the Addams' eerie hilltop mansion is standing in the way of her dream to sell all the houses in the neighborhood.

I like when we leave a movie and we talk about what it taught us on the way home like that everyone is unique, the importance of family togetherness, and getting along with your community.

The film is directed by Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan, and star the voices of Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz, Finn Wolfhard, Nick Kroll, Snoop Dogg, Bette Midler, and Allison Janney.

Kennedy loves getting her face painted

We visited with Ruby Rose again. We met her recently in Disneyland at Disney Fan Fest and she remembered the kids. She was so sweet with them.

I am not kidding this DJ was the star of the show. She played the best music and had everyone dancing.

The food was amazing and the way everything was displayed was just so neat.

They had several bars with fun themed Addams Family drinks like: Morticia's Mimosa, Gory Gomez (bloody mary), Grandmama's Morning Cure, Pugsley's Poison and they had beer.

Aimee Garcia plays Denise in the movie and we visited with her after the movie. Kennedy was so excited.

The highlight of the entire day was probably meeting Snoop Dogg. He sat right behind us in the theater and had his entire family with him. He was the nicest guy. He took photos with everyone.
