Pop-Up Disney: A Mickey Celebration

The Pop-Up Disney: A Mickey Celebration opened on Friday, April 26th. We visited the pop-up over the weekend. If you know me, you know I live for a good pop-up! We have visited the LA and SF Ice Cream Museums, The Color Factory in SF, Fa La Land in LA, and Candytopia in Santa Monica. They are just so fun, the kids have the best time, and it makes for some great photos. I was so excited to visit Pop-Up Disney because you know how much we LOVE Disney and it seriously was the best time ever and I want to share with you why you need to go!

Pop-Up Disney is perfect for all ages. My children are 4 and 7 and they loved it, but Blake and I had the best time too. It is only here for a limited time, so don't procrastinate and purchase tickets now! It is open daily from 10am to 9pm. The cost is $30 per person (ages 3 and up) on Monday through Thursday before 4pm. The cost is $38 per person (ages 3 and up) Monday through Friday from 4pm to 9pm. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the cost is $38 all day. Guests under 3 years old are free.  Click here to purchase tickets.

She is just the cutest girl ever!

This guy right here, he makes all my dreams come true!

Tickets are not available to purchase at the door. You need to buy online here. You can print out your tickets or use your mobile device to show your tickets when you go. The Pop-Up will take you between 1 and 1.5 hours to walk through. You can arrive 15 minutes before your time slot, make sure you plan ahead for time to park and to go through security. You will receive 5 hour complimentary parking for the Downtown Disney parking lot, which is great parking and super close to the Pop-Up Disney. You don't need a ticket to the theme parks to experience this amazing Pop-Up. There is no annual passholder discount (which is kind of a bummer). No food, drinks, pets, strollers are allowed inside the Pop-Up. All tickets are final sale, non-refundable and you can't transfer them to someone else's name either. Make sure whoever's name is on the tickets has their driver's license with them because they will make sure the name on the tickets matches the ID.

Check in 15 minutes before your reservation time and you will be welcomed into a waiting room with BEATS wireless headphones to jam out to all your favorite Disney songs. You can also watch classic Mickey Mouse videos and there are adorable photo ops in this waiting room. If you think this room is cute, wait until you see every other room!

There are 7 rooms and they are all amazing and just so much fun! So much thought and creativity went into each room and I loved them! There is a cast member in each room to help with photos and anything you may need.  Whoever decided to do this or was part of this planning process, I just want to say thank you.  This seriously made my entire day!  I loved every single room and it was a blast.

Mickey and Minnie's Love: I loved the huge bow couch that you can actually sit on! The heart wall, the bow wall and more!

Those smiles just make my heart skip a beat!  They were so excited and this was just the first room!

It All Started With A Mouse: This was my favorite room! There is a wall of small plush Mickeys and there is one hidden Minnie you can find! We spotted her right away!

This might be my favorite photo!

Carter pointing to the hidden Minnie Mouse

I love him so much!  How cute is his shirt?!

I have had my Mickey ears since I was little.  I bought Carter's when I was pregnant with him and I bought Kennedy's when I was pregnant with her.

Mickey's Friendships: There are a lot of great photo ops in this room. This room is bright and colorful and full of friendship and fun.

Sorcerer Mickey: This room is very dark and my photos did not turn out great, but we love Sorcerer Mickey. Especially Carter!

Mickey Around The World: You travel around the world with Mickey and see some amazing walls and rooms for photos.  There is a bathroom in this area so if you wanted to change clothes or do a quick outfit change you can do that.

Forever Mickey: Loved the statue of Mickey Mouse and all the light up Mickey hats in this room. Plus there was fun music playing!

Mickey At Disneyland: I loved how colorful this room was. The Mickey balloons, the Mickey treats on the walls, and so much more!

You can even go inside the giant Mickey shaped balloon

Make sure at the end you visit the Pop-Up Disney gift shop for amazing merchandise.  Most of the things you can't find anywhere else but in this particular gift shop. I loved so many things!
