The Elf on the Shelf’s Elf Pets: A Fox Cub’s Christmas Tale

Christmas in June!  The Patricios are ready for it, bring on the magic!!  Yesterday we were invited to an advance screening of The Elf on the Shelf’s Elf Pets: A Fox Cub’s Christmas Tale at The Grove. We love The Grove, as it is one of the nicest outdoor shopping centers and the movie theater at The Grove is amazing. After the advance screening there was a Q&A with Tia Mowry, The Elf On The Shelf CEO Chandra Bell, and the producer Amy Lovett. We love Tinsel, our Elf On The Shelf who comes and visits us every Christmas season. Every morning Tinsel is wearing a new outfit and he hides in a different spot in our house. He watches over Carter and Kennedy and brings them treats and writes them notes. Tinsel is magical and makes the Christmas season so much fun. Seeing an advance screening of The Elf on the Shelf 's Elf Pets: A Fox Cub's Christmas Tale put us in the Christmas spirit. Now we are counting down the days until Christmas!

The movie is a heart warming tale of Christmas magic, joy and hope, but most importantly it is about family and I loved that.  A Fox Cub's Tale gives an all-new glimpse into the magical world of Santa's North Pole, and answers the universal question: How does Santa travel the whole world in one night? Newsey Noel, the North Pole's Scout Elf reporter, is invited to ride along with Santa on Christmas Eve to learn first-hand how time pauses so Santa can deliver presents undetected and unheard. The special was adapted from the book, Elf Pets: An Arctic Fox Tradition, which will launch this holiday season and comes with an arctic fox plush.

"What I love most about our animated specials is how they bring the magic of the North Pole to life for children," said Bell. "At the heart of our animated specials is an enduring narrative with spirited characters and family values that everyone can enjoy together. The animated storytelling which began with the holiday classic An Elf's Story has evolved over time to encompass all the adventures of Santa's North Pole. We have several exciting creative projects in the works since there is a whole world to explore and so many tales waiting to be told."  I seriously cannot wait for more!

Elf Pets: A Fox Cubs Christmas Tale DVD will be available for purchase at retailers nationwide, and on shop.elfontheshelf.com website, for $9.95. The disc includes the 28-minute animated special, as well as the trailer, sing-along version and filmmaker's commentary.

We were gifted so many goodies, including candy, Sprinkles cupcakes, an artic fox, the book, and a cd of the songs.  It was so nice!  My kids loved it all.  Thank you so much.

The beloved holiday classic An Elf's Story, along with Elf Pets: Santa's St. Bernards Save Christmas, have aired on the Turner networks throughout the holiday season. Airing information for all three specials and times will be released closer to the 2019 holiday season.  All of these movies are so great and you immediately need to purchase them and add them to your Christmas movie collection.  The meaning in each movie and the songs are just so magical.

Meeting Chandra Bell and Amy Lovett was so nice and being able to visit with them and tell them about Tinsel, our Elf Pets St. Bernard and Reindeer Dasher was so much fun. Also meeting Tia Mowry was so cool. She was so beautiful and so nice. She was the perfect host for this event. She is a mother and has two small children. I grew up watching Tia and her sister Tamera on Sister Sister, then their reality show Tia & Tamera, her cooking show Tia Mowry At Home, and I love all the Christmas movies she stars in. It was so nice to meet her.

Make sure this Christmas you adopt an Elf Pets Artic Fox Cub and keep Santa on schedule making his journey in one magical night.  More hope is needed to save "The Song Of Christmas" and in turn the Christmas Eve flight.  Only kids who prove to Santa they believe by swirling the fox's snow globe can truly save the day.  How does the magic begin?  Adopt an Elf Pets Artic Fox Cub, give it a name,  choose hope all year long, shake and swirl the snow globe to let Santa know you believe.  On Christmas Eve the Arctic fox will do its job sparking mystical lights and magic snowflakes just in time for Santa Claus!

Kennedy got to ask a question to Chandra and Amy and she wanted to know why they chose an Arctic fox for this Christmas story and movie.  Chandra explained that there is a legend in Finland the Arctic circle about the Arctic fox sparking the northern lights.

Another fun fact is that the grandmother in the movie is voiced by Chandra Bell's mom.  That is so cool.

Take the time to check out Elf On The Shelf where you can adopt your own elf, adopt an Elf Pets, purchase festive fun outfits for your elf, purchase the book and movies and more.
