Kelly Clarkson and Pitbull

Just spending some time with Kelly and Mr. Worldwide!  They were so nice.  Pitbull said we must have two future presidents in our family with names like Carter and Kennedy.  He really liked their names.  They were both so warm and genuine with the kids.

In the adorably different town of Uglyville, weird is celebrated, strange is special and beauty is embraced as more than simply meets the eye. Here, the free-spirited Moxy (Kelly Clarkson) and her UglyDoll friends live every day in a whirlwind of bliss, letting their freak flags fly in a celebration of life and its endless possibilities. In this all-new story, the UglyDolls will go on a journey beyond the comfortable borders of Uglyville. There, they will confront what it means to be different, struggle with their desire to be loved, and ultimately discover that you don't have to be perfect to be amazing because who you truly are is what matters most.

This movie really hit home with us for so many reasons, but in the car ride home we really discussed how GOD made all of us different and beautiful.  We discussed Kennedy's scars on her tummy after having two surgeries on her small intestines and that her scars are beautiful and how our world is beautiful because not everyone looks or acts the same.

The film is inspired by the unique and beloved global plush toy phenomenon launched in 2001 and features all new original songs from the cast of popstars. The original motion picture soundtrack will be released by Atlantic Records.  The soundtrack is amazing!!!

There was a station to decorate your own cupcakes or cookies

The food was amazing and it was so nice they had everything catered to the kids.  There were veggies with hummus, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, turkey and cheese sandwiches, hotdogs, chicken strips and more.  The food was so good.

A candy bar!

There was a station for girls to get their nails done.  This was Kennedy's first time EVER getting her nails painted.  She thought this was the best part of the day.

The room was so vibrant and fun.  I loved all the balloons, the colored table cloths, and the flowers.

The flowers on each table were gorgeous!

There was a station to make tie-dye shirts and slime!

There is so much UglyDolls merchandise in stores from Hasbro. Before you see the movie make sure you pick up some treats for the kids!

Or you can make a festive shirt for the movie!  I just did a simple iron-on transfer

In March we received these adorable UglyDolls cookies in the mail.  This little package got the kids so excited for the movie.
