This is my third year being a LEGOLAND California Blogger Ambassador. I really enjoy being part of the LEGOLAND team and getting the scoop on what's coming next at this amazing park. Our family loves LEGOLAND California and we usually try to visit the park at least a couple times every year. Carter and Kennedy both love playing with LEGOS and honestly the park is so much fun. This trip was no exception. Thank you again LEGOLAND California for hosting us. This past Saturday we were able to preview Brick Or Treat at LEGOLAND California. It really put us in the Halloween spirit. We also brought Grandma Nikki and Papa Steve and they had a spooktacular time too!
This amazing giant pumpkin was made entirely out of Legos and we got to climb in it for a photo.
The entire park is open for party nights every Saturday night (October 12, 19, 26). There is live entertainment, character meet and greets, a costume contest, treat stations, a pop badge challenge, and more. Make sure you pick up an event guide. This event guide was so helpful. It had everything listed, including times and a description of each event.
You can boogie on down in Fun Town with the sensational singing and dancing Monster Crew as they bring their spooky fun character concert to life. Lord Vampyre and LEGO Mummy characters are also there to meet! This was a great show.
Pop Badge Challenge happens from 5 pm to 9 pm. Complete one out of this world challenge and collect an exclusive Brick OR Treat Pop Badge!
Courtyard Theater Entertainment has Mail Order Monsters. Princess Penelope needs scary monsters for her Brick Or Treat party but the ones she ordered from the catalog are not scary at all. She needs your help to whip them into shape and save Brick Or Treat. The Witchettes is another show. What happens when 5 little witches are left alone? They sing and dance sparkle, of course. So grab your brooms and your best dancing boots and get ready to celebrate Brick Or Treat with the youngest members of the BOO Crew and the Witchettes.
Here we are getting ready to ride Ninjago!
MiniLand Stage has a costume contest. The group costume contest is at 6pm, the heroes and villains is at 7pm, and LEGO theme is at 8pm. Judges select winners in each category. See registration or LEGOLAND.com for rules, prizes, and awards. Registration begins at 4pm for guests 12 and under and ends 15 minutes before each contest begins. Children may enter one of 3 categories to show off their awesome costumes.
The AstroBash dance party is from 5 pm to 9 pm. Intergaslactic DJs from the final frontier will put the boot scoot in your moon boots. Blast off to a planetary party with a beat that's out of this world.
Don't miss the Spirits of Brick OR Treat Light Show on the long walk between Land of Adventure and Castle Hill after dusk.
On the Ghost Cruise you can take a spirited boat ride to the most haunted places in the world with the peculiar Paranormal investigators.
We loved all of the photo opportunities and the cute backdrops they had set up.
LEGO Show Place Entertainment: Wacky Professor Frankenbrick has one goal - to be the BEST mad scientist in the world. Watch and help as he attempts to bring a LEGO plastic monster to life.
The stores had great Halloween themed merchandise too. Carter and Kennedy were spoiled with new LEGO sets from grandma and papa.
There are treat stations throughout the park. You just need to pick up an event guide and an empty goody bag with your wristband and visit the treat station zones throughout the park to fill up with treats and candy between 5pm and 9 pm only during the Brick Or Treat Party Nights.
I loved that they had seasonal snacks too! Candy apples, apple cider, pumpkin shakes, crepes, lattes, Halloween cookies and more! The pumpkin crepe was amazing from City Park Creperie.
Don't miss this spooktacular party! You can get tickets here.
We stayed at the new LEGOLAND Castle Hotel and it was awesome. It is so nice to be right on property and the kids loved everything it had to offer. There is a pool, LIVE musical entertainment, Monster Bash Dance Party, a costume contest, dragon training, treat stations (Thursdays and Fridays only), character meet and greets, a wonderful dining experience and so much more.
When you check into your room, the kids have to do a little scavenger hunt and then they use the numbers to try to unlock the safe and a brand new set of LEGOS are in the safe for each child to keep! How cool is that?!
The LEGO cat is sitting on the safe
The kids loved the bunk beds!
The kids loved the LEGO pit as soon as we walked into the hotel. This is so great because the kids can play while parents check in and ask questions at the front desk. There is also a huge 1 story high slide and lots of fun activities for the kids to see and play with in the lobby.
