2023 What A Year!

I always create a blog post to recap our year. We had a lot of fun in 2023 and we are excited to see what 2024 holds for us. May this new year bring you much joy and fun. May you find peace, love and success. May this year bring new happiness, new goals, new achievements, new inspirations and above all good health! Wishing you nothing but happiness in the new year. Here’s to another year full of joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Remember, no matter how hard the past has been, you can always begin again!

January

We spent the month at home cleaning and organizing.  We participated in some virtual press junkets, screened lots of shows, movies, did some shopping and spent those Christmas gift cards!  We were also invited to attend Disney On Ice.  Kennedy participated in the spelling bee and we are so proud of her for doing her best.

February

The month of love was BUSY for the Patricios.  We work with LEGO a lot (a brand we LOVE) and they invited us to a new store opening and spoiled us rotten!  The kids still talk about this day.  Disney+ invited us to the premiere for Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.  We loved this show.  We watched the entire series and can't wait for season 2 coming February 2024!  We also went to the Stoney Clover Disney event and had the best time.  Stoney Clover Lane actually sent us a PR package of goodies and we cannot thank them enough for always spoiling us!  Blake and Kennedy attended the Father Daughter dance.  Kennedy took part in Famous Americans at school where she was Chris Evert, a famous tennis player.  She had to write a speech about Chris Evert, memorize it and recite it to classmates, parents, teachers, and other students.  We worked with Pokémon on National Pokémon Day and Carter was so excited.

Disney+ invited us to the premiere for Saturdays, a new series that we watched as a family and loved.  We watched the entire series together and we really hope it gets renewed for a season 2.  It's such a great family show.  Disney+ also invited us to the premiere for Prom Pact and we had the time of our lives.  I can now say the 4 of us went to prom together.  This premiere was amazing and a highlight for me this year.

We got to visit Walt Disney's apartment in Disneyland.  It was something I will never forget.  I loved that I got to share this moment with my family and I will cherish that day forever.  Disney+ invited us to the Rennervations premiere and it was so much fun.  Our friends at Barbie and Mattel invited us to tour World of Barbie in Santa Monica and it was amazing.  We also went to Sea World and spent a week in Newport Beach while the kids were on spring break.  Carter also had a history presentation where he was Paul Revere and he had parts he had to memorize.  We were so proud of him.

Dreamworks invited us to a fun event for the Trolls Band Together movie and we got to work on a very fun campaign that day for Dreamworks.  We spent Thanksgiving break in Newport Beach and shopped, ate and enjoyed family time.  We saw Mariah Carey in concert at the Hollywood Bowl.  It was Carter's first concert ever and for all of us our first time ever at the Hollywood Bowl.  We were invited to attend Once Upon A Christmas A North Pole Experience and we had a magical time.  We visited our favorite store Stoney Clover Lane and they were having an event for their new Disney Christmas collection.  We went to LEGOLAND, Sea World, Disneyland and Universal Studios to celebrate the holiday season.

December

We were invited to attend the opening night of Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas Musical and it was amazing.  We were invited by Warner Bros to the Wonka premiere and it was another highlight for the year.  The kids both had their Christmas programs at school and Carter played the part of a friar.  We are so proud of him for volunteering to take on a part, learn his lines, and perform in front of hundreds of people in the school gym.  We went to see the Nutcracker ballet, visited with lots of family, made gingerbread houses, had lots of festivities at school (like ugly sweater day, PJ day and more).  We had a wonderful Christmas season.

I am so grateful for the opportunities, events we were invited to attend and all the fun we had. There is nothing more important to me than making memories with this family of mine.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this blog, following me on my social media outlets and always caring for our family. We worked with so many amazing companies/ brands and interviewed so many wonderful celebrities and screened so many movies and TV series.  It is always such an honor to be asked to screen movies early and share my reviews and thoughts. It has been a blessed year and I can't wait to see what fun 2024 holds.
