Disney and Pixar’s Elemental Red Carpet Premiere

Embrace the light when it burns, because it won't always last forever.

Thursday night we were honored to attend the red carpet world premiere for Disney Pixar's Elemental in Los Angeles at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. We have been so excited to see this movie and it was truly amazing. It was one of the best Pixar movies we have ever seen. It is a clever emotional story that celebrates love crossing cultural boundaries that will warm your heart and have you literally sobbing! Bring tissues!! The movie has a very moving tribute to immigrant parents with the most beautiful animation. It also brings lots of laughter and knowledge about history. We can't wait to see it again. It delivers the most beautiful story that I know we will love and cherish forever. The animation is absolutely stunning!  You will instantly fall in love with Ember, Wade and their families.  Watch our reel here of our night.

Elemental is 1 hour and 43 minutes and rated PG

Honestly, the trailer does not do this movie justice. We have watched the trailer a million times and I knew it was about elements living in Elemental City and how they don't mix, but this movie has so much depth, with a beautiful story about love, family, and accepting people for who they are and chasing your dreams.

We met @happykelli from Tik Tok.  We LOVE her videos.

We met @yoleendadong from Tik Tok.  She always makes me laugh!

We all know fire and water do not mix, but what would happen if they wanted to?! Pixar explores this possibility in Elemental. The movie is perfect and kids and adults of all ages will love it. From the moment this movie starts you will fall in love with Ember and Wade. You will be rooting for them as a couple even though they can't even touch. Their connection is pure and they connect on a deeper level. They become friends first and share their dreams, passions, and what they want out of life.

Selfie with Derek Hough!

Elemental is an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, where Fire, Water, Earth and Air residents live together. The story introduces Ember a fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun and sappy guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.

They had so much for kids at this premiere.  They had an area where you could learn how to draw the characters from the movie.

All of the movie posters were so cute!

Kennedy made hot coal truffles

Kennedy went in the movie ticket machine to try and catch free movie tickets to see Elemental!  She got one!

Cricket had a cute booth to take selfies with Wade and Ember

We loved meeting Malachi Barton from Villains of Valley View

We met EMBER!!!  Leah Lewis was so sweet with Kennedy and even signed her lanyard.  She was fantastic in the movie.

This movie is about going after your dreams and staying true to yourself even when you are told you can't. For kids and adults it teaches you to be your best self and go after what you want in life!

Disney had Ember and Wade there to take photos with!  We were so excited.  I am sure they will be at Disneyland for a limited time once the movie is released.

You will literally fall in love with them!!!

See Elemental in theaters June 16!  Arrive early because you don't want to miss the all new short Carl’s Date.  Carl reluctantly agrees to go on a date with a lady friend, but admittedly has no idea how dating works these days. Ever the helpful friend, Dug steps in to calm Carl’s pre-date jitters and offer some tried-and-true tips for making friends if you’re a dog.  This short will have you in tears, so have your tissues ready!

This serves as a wonderful finale for the UP franchise and Ed Asner’s final time voicing Carl Fredricksen is so beautiful. I was in tears by the end.  It is one of the best Pixar shorts.

When we left the premiere we were given an Elemental sipper.  These will be at Disneyland to purchase starting June 16.

Check out the new Snapple Elements Fire, Earth, Air and Rain.

Let's make Disney Pixar Elemental bagels. Pour 3/4 cup warm water into a bowl, add yeast and 1 tsp sugar and mix, add 1 cup flour and mix. Add 1 more cup of flour and knead the dough. Split the dough into 4 small balls. Make a small indention with your knuckle in each ball to add food coloring. Add a few drops of different food coloring representing the characters of Elemental: Blue for Wade, Orange for Ember, Green for Clod, and Pink for Gale. Mix the color into the dough and roll each of the balls out like a thick worm and connect both ends together. Mix an egg in a bowl, brush on each bagel and add seasoning. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes and enjoy!

The kids thought these bagels were so fun and delicious. They were simple to make. Creating magic does not have to be complicated. Just have fun with your kids and make special memories together. So this summer, have fun with your family and enjoy every second. Happy summer vacation!
