Prom Pact Pink Carpet Premiere

Get that dress and rent the tux because it's time to go to prom! Friday night was full of 80's attire, fun music, great food, a pink carpet, corsages, boutineers and prom backdrops everywhere you turned as we celebrated the premiere of Prom Pact at The Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles. The movie is a heartfelt romantic comedy with an 80's rom-com feel, but with its own twist. It is a coming of age story as the characters learn what is and is not important in their lives. The movie is about friendship, romance, family and balancing life in general. Prom Pact is about living day to day and accepting that sometimes things don't work out, but it can be for the better. I love that the movie focuses on creating one's identity and stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new things. Prom Pact will premiere this Thursday, March 30 on Disney Channel and Friday, March 31 on Disney+

It's the height of prom season, and high school senior Mandy Yang and her best friend and fellow outsider Ben are surrounded by over-the-top '80s-themed Promposals. However, Mandy keeps her eyes focused on a different goal: her lifelong dream of attending Harvard. When she finds out that she has been put on the waitlist, she is determined to do whatever she can do to get herself accepted, even if that means asking for help from the one person she abhors – popular all-star jock Graham Lansing whose father is a powerful senator and Harvard alum. Once Mandy becomes Graham's tutor, she begins to realize there's more to him than she thought and perhaps something more to life than Harvard.

The movie is 1 hour and 39 minutes.  Carter is 11 and Kennedy is 8 and they loved the movie and so did Blake and I.  The movie centers around high schoolers and references some teenage themes that went right over Carter and Kennedy's heads, but you will need to decide for yourself if it is age appropriate for your younger children.  We loved the movie and thought it was tastefully written, but it is definitely a teen high school rom-com meant to appeal to older children and young adults.

The pink carpet was so fun!

This was better than any high school prom!

Now I can say I went to prom with my kids!  Did you know Blake and I are high school sweethearts so we went to every prom together in high school.

We had the best time at the premiere. We were honored to be invited so I can screen the movie early and share my honest review with all of you. The kids love attending premieres to see their favorite Disney Channel and Disney Plus stars who are in their favorite shows. This premiere was like a Disney Channel and Disney Plus reunion. Everyone was there and we had a ball catching up with friends and taking photos and dancing the night away.

Thank you Disney+, Disney Channel and Disney Branded TV PR for having us at the Prom Pact premiere.

Our favorite boys from Secrets Of Sulphur Springs, Preston Oliver and Landon Gordon.  Season 3 is on Disney Plus now.  We love this show.

We also love the show Bunk'd.  The cast is so funny.  Alfred Lewis and Shiloh Verrico.

When you entered the theater everyone received a corsage and boutineer.

Wendi McLendon Covey!  She is Beverly Goldberg the best mom in the world in The Goldbergs.  She is also Nancy Green, the edgy mother in Big City Greens. We love both of these shows, and have loved her in Brides Maids and literally everything she stars in.  She is so funny.  For Halloween we were the family from Big City Greens and I was Nancy, so we showed her a photo and she loved it.

Rainbow Wedell is on School Spirits on Paramount Plus.  Blake and I are obsessed with this show.  Milo Manheim also stars in School Spirits.

Trevor from Zombies!

Maxwell Simkins is the funniest kid!  He is in Mighty Ducks Game Changers, which you can watch on Disney Plus.  He is also in the Home Team and The Sleepover.

Lily Brooks O'Briant is on the show Life By Ella on AppleTV+ and it is so good.  We see Lily at almost every premiere and event.  It was so nice catching up with her.  She is now on Young and the Restless.

Winslow Fegley is in the movie Lyle Lyle Crocodile, 8 Bit Christmas and Timmy Failure.  Love all these movies.

She is ready for the movie to start!

Peyton Elizabeth Lee gave a wonderful speech before the movie started.  She is beyond talented and so sweet.  We just love her.

After the movie we got to spend time with Milo and Meg from the Zombies franchise.

We brought a photo from the Zombies 3 premiere and Milo and Meg signed it.

The after party was amazing.

Go give DJ Tessa a follow @dj_tessa  She is the best DJ!

The live 80's band was amazing.  The dance floor was packed all night.

We spent a little more time with Meg Donnelly.  She is just so sweet.

We love Carla Jeffery from Zombies.

We actually sat right next to Mallory James Mahoney in the theater and she was so sweet.  She is on the show Bunk'd.  She looked amazing.  Best dressed in my book for the night.
