Our Amazing Summer

It has been one amazing summer and I am so sad to see it come to an end.  I know summer is not officially over, but for me once the kids start school our summer fun is over.  Blake's busy season is June through October and that includes late nights and weekends.  I always told myself that once the kids were both totally potty trained and not napping anymore we were going to have some serious fun and not just stay around Fresno all summer long.  This was our first summer exploring, traveling, staying in hotels, and doing things just the three of us and the kids were awesome!  We did really great all summer, except for a couple weeks ago when I got over the Grapevine and realized I forgot all our luggage at home.  I guess I was just too excited to get to Disneyland!  I grabbed the kids, snacks, iPads, and my purse and we were off.  Thank God for Target in Anaheim!  We had a great summer overall and I wanted to share our fun with you!  The kids and I made a list of things we wanted to accomplish this summer.  There were 17 things on the list and we did not get to 5 of the things.  I would say that is not bad at all.  In case you are interested, we did not go to the water slides, bowling, Chuck E Cheese, Story Land/Play Land, and the Jelly Belly Factory.

As soon as Carter graduated from kindergarten we took off for 10 days in Hawaii!  You can read all about it here.
