Diving Into LEGO City Deep Sea Adventure Ride

This is my second year being a LEGOLAND California Blogger Ambassador. I really enjoy being part of the LEGOLAND team and getting the scoop on whats coming next at this amazing park.  Our family loves LEGOLAND California and we usually try to visit the park at least a couple times every year. Carter and Kennedy both love playing with LEGOS and honestly the park is so much fun.  This trip was no exception. Thank you again LEGOLAND California for hosting us.

I was invited to come to the grand opening of the new LEGO City Deep Sea Adventure submarine ride at LEGOLAND California yesterday.  We were so excited to embark on this voyage that we decided to head down to Carlsbad on Sunday so we could enjoy two days in the park.  We stayed at the LEGOLAND Hotel and we had the best time.

LEGO City Deep Sea Adventure submarine ride brings guests aboard a real submarine where you will go underwater to discover a truly amazing world filled with more than 2,000 live sea animals, including stingrays and sharks!  Through the use of touchscreens at each porthole inside the sub guests can help the LEGO minifigure dive team identify gems, pearls, LEGO gold coins and more!  The ride is 4 minutes long.  There is no height restriction, however guests must be at least 52" to ride alone.  There are a total of 8 submarines and each one can hold 12 people.  The kids loved this ride so much that we rode it twice.

The kids were given these spyglasses in their swag bags and they loved them!

They also got these adorable sailor hats!

Breakfast was provided, which was so nice.  They had fruit cups with cantaloupe!

I got lots of questions about the kids' shirts in the park and on IG.  I'm proud to say I made them!  I printed out an image on iron-on transfer paper and put them on white tees.  I always want the kids to have festive shirts for the special events we were attending.  Believe me, they were a hit!

LEGOLAND California also presented a check to Ronald McDonald House Charities for $80,000.  It was amazing.

Champagne bottles were bursting with streamers and the crowd of media and special guests cheered as the submarines were christened for LEGO City Deep Sea Adventure submarine ride at LEGOLAND California Resort.

I love that they take your picture before you get on the ride!  What a fun keep sake!

While you are waiting to get on the ride there is a lot of wonderful information about sharks, sting rays, coral reefs and more.

After you get off the ride there is a retail shop you walk through and it is amazing.  It is all geared towards the Deep Sea Adventure submarine ride.  You can even create your own fantastical deep sea creature and fun fish.  They can then be released into a large digital underwater scene projected on the set works of the retail store.  The kids loved this.

Jenny and I met last year during our first LEGOLAND Blogger Ambassador event.  She has become one of my very best friends and we have kids the exact same age that are obsessed with each other.  I met Kim through Jenny and she has two children as well and we have become great friends.  The three of us are all LEGOLAND Blogger Ambassadors, bloggers, mamas, and so much more!  Make sure you follow all three of us to stay updated on all of our fun.

We had a great time and there are just a few things I wanted to share with you, so get ready!  Did you know kids go FREE to LEGOLAND California or Florida Resort?  You do need a coupon and if you purchase one full price adult ticket your child goes FREE.  I have several of these coupons, so if you are going please do not hesitate to contact me.

We stayed at the LEGOLAND Hotel and it was so much fun.  We had a pirates themed room.  The convenience of being right there on property is worth it.  There are interactive LEGO features everywhere, LEGO themed rooms, the hotel is located at the main entrance of LEGOLAND, exclusive early access to LEGOLAND, FREE breakfast (it was delicious), nightly entertainment, themed play areas, LEGO gift for each child, and more!  They also just opened the new LEGOLAND Castle Hotel and it looks amazing.  We can't wait to stay there!

In this safe in our room was the new LEGO magazine and two LEGO sets for the kids to keep.  It was so nice and the kids were so excited.

There was a king size bed

There are also bunk beds and a bottom trundle bed, so really this room sleeps three children.  There is also a TV in this room for the kids.

The decor in the bathroom was so fun!

Our room also came with coffee, water, apple juice, and more!

There are tons of character meet and greet locations so make sure you grab a resort entertainment guide to see your favorite LEGO characters.  You just never know who you might run into!

Kennedy's favorite Ninjago character is Nya.  She was even wearing a shirt with Nya on it.

There is also LEGOLAND Water Park and the Sea Life Aquarium which is located in LEGOLAND and my kids love the water park and the aquarium.  Click here to read about the water park and sea life aquarium.

The kids love checking out all the LEGO models.  It is unbelievable that they are all made out of LEGOS.
