Every year I always do this blog post. It is a little look back at our year and all the fun we had. It usually includes several trips, celebrations, work events and so much more. This year was a little different and kept us home a lot, though not as much as 2020, but we learned to make the best of it and stay positive. We are excited to see what 2022 holds for us. May this new year bring you much joy and fun. May you find peace, love and success. May this year bring new happiness, new goals, new achievements, new inspirations and above all good health! Wishing you nothing but happiness in the new year. Here’s to another year full of joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Remember, no matter how hard the past has been, you can always begin again! Please remember to stay safe and stay home.

Get Your Elf On! Simple Elf On The Shelf Ideas

The Elf On The Shelf: The Christmas Tradition came out in 2005 and became an instant success. It won best toy award in 2008, 2009, and 2010. I could not wait to begin the tradition with Carter once he was born in 2011. The first couple of years I don't think Carter really understood, but I loved it. I moved Tinsel every night, helped Carter find him in the morning, and Tinsel always left a little treat from the North Pole that he got from Santa each night for Carter. A couple years later Kennedy joined the fun and as they both grow each year and mature they seriously can't wait to wake up each morning to find Tinsel, and now Jingle as well. Tinsel and Jingle leave a note each morning for the kids and Carter loves to read it to us at breakfast. They still get a little gift each day and they are so excited to see what Tinsel and Jingle have left for them. I really enjoy The Elf On The Shelf, so if you are on the fence about doing it I wanted to break it down for you a little more. You can also view my IG highlights here for all of this year's fun. Seasonal pajamas are my jam! In this household we like festive pajamas and love matching. Even Blake gets into the spirit. Christmas may seem different this year (this is the second year we are staying home just the 4 of us), but that doesn’t mean we can’t make it fun with cozy, festive pajamas.  I hope you all have a a wonderful Christmas! Over the last couple of years we have been spending more and more time in LA. We are so blessed to be invited to press junkets for movies, advance movie screenings, movie premieres and more. Almost all of these events happen right in Los Angeles and I like to stay somewhere that is centrally located, has a variety of restaurants nearby, in addition to shopping, activities for the kids, and more. Diary of A Wimpy Kid Now On Disney+

Our love for Diary Of A Wimpy Kid runs deep.  We have loved the books as family and we have read them all. We have also seen the live action movies. The books and movies make us laugh and the characters are so funny. Now we are so excited to see the animated version come to life on Disney+ with the first movie Diary Of A Wimpy Kid, which is out now on Disney+. The characters resemble the book drawings very accurately and the movie is so good.

Back To The Outback Now Streaming On Netflix

Netflix is here this holiday season with an all new animated movie for children and families that you will sure love. Last week we screened the movie Back To The Outback and it was adorable. The movie is full of gorgeous scenes, funny one liners, adorable animals, and more. We loved this movie!  Back To The Outback is an animated adventure that proves just because something's different, doesn't mean it isn't beautiful.  I liked that it reminded us not to judge a book by its cover, or a snake by her fangs.  It's what's in your heart that matters.

It's An American Girl Christmas

Kennedy loves American Girl. I love that American Girl has countless sets for just about every interest a child could possibly have. I love to see the company grow and adapt to what children are into, which is pretty exciting since I grew up playing with American Girl. I only had Samantha. I still wish I had my original Samantha today for Kennedy. Kennedy currently has 3 American Girl dolls and plays with them non-stop.
