Get Ready For The Most Festive Holiday Celebration At DCA

Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are happening right now. Experience the most magical time of the year with celebrations throughout both parks from November 12, 2021 to January 9, 2022! We spent 4 days visiting the happiest place on earth to celebrate the holiday season! We stayed at The Disneyland Hotel, which you can read about HERE. We also attended Disney's Merriest Nites and you can read about it HERE. Let me share with you everything you can't miss this holiday season in DCA.

We really love DCA. There is Avengers Campus, Pixar Pier, Cars Land, the rides, and the food options are amazing. Here is everything you can't miss this holiday season. I definitely recommend visiting DCA.  It's the best!

Buena Vista Street and that tree just make me smile!

It was so fun celebrating Mickey & Minnie's birthday in DCA

Visit the DCA Christmas tree. I love love love this tree!

Meet Santa at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.  The joyful elves have transformed Redwood Creek Challenge Trail into a jolly playground of holiday fun.

Pick up a Mickey Snowman Cookie Decorating Kit and Holiday Mix while you wait in line to meet Santa.

Watch Mickey's Happy Holidays Show. This show plays at 12:30 pm and 4:15 pm. I would stand right in front of Under the Sea Journey of The Little Mermaid.  Dance along with Mickey Mouse and pals to the magically merry rhythms of the Holiday Toy Drummers. It is a joyous traveling party.  Check it out HERE.

Don't forget to try other seasonal foods and treats while you are in the parks. Check out the list HERE. Also in DCA is the Festival of Holidays!  There are 8 festive food marketplaces to try.

We tried Reuben Potato Bites from "A Twist On Tradition."  These were amazing!!

We tried the Reimagined Beef Brisket Wellington from "A Twist On Tradition."  We did not love this one.  I would skip.

We tried the Braised Pork Belly Adobo from "Holiday Duets."  This one was okay.  I would probably skip it.

Esquites Carnitas Mac & Cheese from "Merry Mashups" is a must!  It was so good!!!

Pastrami Reuben served with oranges or fries.  It was amazing.  This is at Award Wieners.  This is a must!!

Obsessed with the Tacos Dorados De Papa.  The are plant based tacos and they are my favorite.  They are crispy potato tacos topped with cabbage, slaw, dairy free crema, salsa, tomatoes, onion and more.  They are out of this world.  You can find these on the Pacific Wharf at Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill.

We also love the QuesaBirria tacos on the Pacific Wharf at Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill.

Watch Viva Navidad Street Party.  The Three Caballeros host a fun street party featuring folklorico and samba dancers along with Mickey and Minnie in their fiesta best.  At Paradise Gardens enjoy festive bands, holiday foods, Disney characters and the debut of Mirabel from Disney's new film Encanto.  Check out the video HERE of all the fun!

You can watch Disney Viva Navidad Street Party at 1:45, 2:45, 3:45, 5:15, 6:15, and 7:15 pm

Visit with Mirabel from the new movie Encanto that comes out November 24

They were giving out fun activity packets after meeting Mirabel.  Click HERE to print the activity packet.

Right in front of Under the Sea Journey of The Little Mermaid ride check out the arts and crafts they have for all ages.  There are crafts to celebrate Christmas, Navidad, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day.

Visit Cars Land.  It is all decorated for Christmas and it is so fun.  Make sure you visit Cars Land right at sunset to see all the lights turn on.  Check out a fun video HERE of Cars Land.

Watch the Holiday Toy Drummers.  They perform at 10:30, 11:30, 2:30, 3:30 pm.  The mischievous Holiday Toy Drummers march to their own merry beat as they perform precision drills with holiday cheer.  They perform on the stage at Paradise Gardens Park.  They are my favorite!

Visit with characters all throughout the park.

We love Avengers Campus! Check out my full blog post about Avengers Campus HERE.

We love taking our picture here every year.  You can find Santa and his reindeer in Hollywood Land.

We also love visiting this statue of Walt right on Buena Vista Street.

There is so much to see and do at Christmas time in DCA. We love seeing all the beautiful décor around the park, visiting with characters, eating our favorite treats and trying new ones, the Festival of Holidays, Mickey's Happy Holidays, visiting with Santa, the Holiday Toy Drummers, the rides, and more.
