Over the weekend we screened A Boy Called Christmas. It will premiere on Netflix November 24th just in time for the holidays. It is always so exciting and an honor to be asked to screen movies for Netflix and be able to write about them and share with all of you. Make sure you add this one to your holiday movie watch list. This movie is full of fun, adventure, and love. The entire family will love it.
An ordinary young boy called Nikolas sets out on an extraordinary adventure into the snowy north in search of his father who is on a quest to discover the fabled village of the elves, Elfhelm. Taking with him a headstrong reindeer called Blitzen and a loyal pet mouse, Nikolas soon meets his destiny in this magical, comical and endearing story that proves nothing is impossible. It was adapted from the bestselling book by Matt Haig. The movie is rated PG and 106 minutes long.
I love that this movie has a positive message about the holiday season that includes helping others less fortunate and how it's the thought that counts rather than the gifts themselves.
