Super Heroes Assemble! The Patricios Visited Avengers Campus

Avengers Campus opened on June 4th in DCA and when I say we have been dying to visit this campus since it opened I am not lying. All four of us have seen every single Marvel movie in chronological order. We have fallen in love with all of the characters and could not wait to visit this new land. Avengers Campus is a brand new land dedicated to discovering, recruiting and training the next generation of super heroes at the Disneyland Resort in DCA. We have been counting down the days until we could team up with the Avengers and their allies, sling webs with Spider-Man, taste-test inventive food and drinks and become part of a bigger universe alongside some of our favorite super heroes. 31 Halloween costumes For Couples & Families

This is our third consecutive year sharing 31 Halloween costumes for the entire month of October.  It is so fun to think of ideas, craft and come up with costumes all together as a family.  You can see 2019 costumes here and 2020 costumes here.  We are already looking forward to next year!  These Pokemon costumes are from Disguise.

Halloween Time At Disneyland

Last week we spent 4 days visiting the happiest place on earth! It was our first time returning to Disneyland since the parks opened in April. We love Disneyland and Halloween time in Disneyland is our favorite. We love visiting with the characters in their festive costumes, eating all the special treats, riding all the rides, going to the Oogie Boogie Bash and making the most magical memories.

We have never missed a Halloween party at Disney Parks. For years the party was in Disneyland and now it is at DCA. After last year with the parks being closed I could not wait to get back to the parks for the Halloween season and attend the Oogie Boogie Bash. We had the best time this past Tuesday. A Mouthful Of Air In Theaters Now

A few weeks ago I screened A Mouthful Of Air.  I also had the pleasure of interviewing Amanda Seyfried  and Finn Wittrock who star in the movie.  The film is about a bestselling children's author who writes about unlocking childhood fears, but has yet to unlock her own. After the birth of her second child, things get dark for her as a secret from her past comes rushing forward.  This movie deals with personal demons and post partum depression.

Easy & Fun Ideas For Elf On The Shelf

The Elf On The Shelf: The Christmas Tradition came out in 2005 and became an instant success. It won best toy award in 2008, 2009, and 2010. I could not wait to begin the tradition with Carter once he was born in 2011. The first couple of years I don't think Carter really understood, but I loved it. I moved Tinsel every night, helped Carter find him in the morning, and Tinsel always left a little treat from the North Pole that he got from Santa each night for Carter. A couple years later Kennedy joined the fun and as they both grow each year and mature they seriously can't wait to wake up each morning find Tinsel, and now Jingle as well. Tinsel and Jingle leave a note each morning for the kids and Carter loves to read it to us at breakfast. They still get a little gift each day and they get so excited to see what Tinsel and Jingle have left for them. We were so excited to screen the first two chapters of Maya And The Three of the nine chapter animated series premiering on Netflix today. In a fantastical world, where magic turns the world and four kingdoms rule the lands, a brave and rebellious warrior princess named Maya is about to celebrate her fifteenth birthday and coronation. But everything changes when the gods of the underworld arrive and announce that Maya's life is forfeit to the God of War a price she must pay for her family's secret past. To save her beloved family, her friends, and her own life, Maya embarks on a thrilling quest to fulfill an ancient prophecy that foretells the coming of three great warriors who will help her defeat the gods and save humankind.  We all loved watching these first two chapters and we can't wait to watch more and see what happens.

DREAMWORKS GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE SEASON 3 NOW STREAMING ON NETFLIX

Gabby's Dollhouse entered our house on January 5th and has never left. My kids have been re-watching season 1 and 2 on Netflix. It is cat-tastic! Kennedy is obsessed with cats and you can hear her squealing with delight while watching each episode. I love that the show includes cats, games, mysteries, projects, surprises, songs, and fun! This show is absolutely adorable and the girl who plays Gabby (Laila Lockhart Kraner) makes the entire show. She is energetic, excited, happy and makes you want to use your imagination and go on adventures with her! Now Gabby's Dollhouse is BACK with season 3 and it is streaming now! Check out all 7 new episodes on Netflix. We watched the entire season 3 in one day!

Build A Bear Entertainment Presents Honey Girls On DVD & Digital Today

 

In March I got to spend the day chatting with Ashanti, Tessa Brooks, Ava Grace, Aliyah Mastin and Frankie McNellis about their new movie Honey Girls. It was so much fun listening to the stories from set, friendships they made, what it was like filming and so much more.  Just recently I got to screen the movie and we loved it.  I watched it by myself one day when the kids were in school and Blake was at work and I knew they would love it too, so that evening we watched it all together as a family.  It is about friendship, following your dreams and never giving up!  It is a must see!

The Ghost & Molly McGee On Disney Channel Now

Are you ready for a new animation series that the entire family will love?! The Ghost Of Molly McGee is about a tween optimist Molly McGee who lives to make the world a better place, fix what has gone wrong, and spread joy. Meanwhile, cantankerous ghost Scratch lives to make the world a worse place, break what has gone right, and spread misery. When a curse from Scratch backfires, he finds himself forever bound to Molly. The show is funny, entertaining, and teaches a message in each episode.  We love it and I am sure your family and kids will too.

Our house looks so festive and fun, so I wanted to share some pictures of it all decorated for Halloween. I love this time of year. I really love decorating and making the house look and feel like Halloween for the kids. They just love it and I think it is so important as a mom to be festive and make things fun for your children. Recently I was honored to attend a meeting with Nintendo and see their holiday preview. Of course it included games, ornaments, toys and that beautiful Nintendo Switch OLED Model that came out last week. So let's find the systems, games, toys, and more that’ll give everyone something to smile about. Nintendo has great gifts for the entire family. There is something for everyone, no matter the age. We absolutely love our Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite. We play as a family, the kids play together, and it is so enjoyable. It is great family time and keeps the kids thinking, playing and being creative. We love it. Each game offers something new and exciting.

Get Halloween Ready With Disguise

What does it take to be a zombie? Deadication! Everyday Monday through Friday on the way to school we jam out to My Year from Disney Zombies. When I say our entire family are huge fans of Disney Zombies movies that is an understatement. We listen to the soundtrack literally everyday in the car and watch the movies weekly. Carter and Kennedy both got exactly what they wanted so they are extremely happy and I had the smoothest shopping experience, and I did not even have to leave the house! DIY Bluey Disney Junior Costumes For Halloween

My kids are obsessed with Bluey on Disney Junior. Bluey is an Australian animated television series for preschoolers and you can find it on Disney Junior and Disney+. Bluey is a puppy with a big imagination and a joyous approach to life, just like we encourage in our children. Like Blake and I, Bluey's mom and dad are actively engaged with their kids, spending time doing things their pups want to do. It is one of our favorite shows and I will even catch myself watching it when the kids aren't even in the room! It was not even a question that we had to make Bluey and Bingo costumes this year! This was so easy!

Under Wraps Returns TO Disney Channel With A Remake

The Disney Channel is remaking its first original movie, the classic 1997 Halloween movie, Under Wraps.  The film stars Christian J. Simon (Gilbert), Sophia Hammons (Amy), and Malachi Barton (Marshall), as three 12-year-old friends who try to save their mummified friend Harold from greedy criminals by returning him to his resting place before midnight on Halloween.  The movie is perfect to watch with the whole family and it is a great way to kick off the month full of Halloween fun.  Under Wraps was just as fun as the original and will be a new Halloween favorite!
