No Park Ticket? No Problem! How to Celebrate Halloween at Disneyland Without Entering the Parks

NO PARK TICKET? NO PROBLEM! You don’t need a Disneyland park ticket to get into the Halloween spirit! There are SO many spooky and festive things to see around the Disneyland Resort that are completely outside the parks.  See all the fun we had here.

Head over to Pixar Place Hotel, which is decorated for Halloween for the first time ever with a Monsters, Inc. theme! It is seriously SO cute and festive

Then head over to the Disneyland Hotel for all the spooky Haunted Mansion decor! There’s a fun photo op outside, and once you head inside, don’t miss the Hitchhiking Ghosts and all the Haunted Mansion-inspired decorations. You might even get lucky and run into some Disney characters while you’re there!

One of our favorite traditions is Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit! Grab a game board and search Downtown Disney for all the hidden Disney character pumpkins. We do this every year and the kids LOVE it! Once you find them all, you get a fun prize at the end.

Then take your time exploring Downtown Disney, do some shopping, check out all the Halloween decorations, grab a meal, or treat yourself to something sweet.

And you HAVE to make a stop at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa to see the incredible Nightmare Before Christmas display! It’s edible, absolutely incredible, and took more than 800 hours to create!

While you’re there, grab a treat from inside the hotel. My personal recommendation? The pecan butter cookie. Trust me!

And don’t forget to check out the character pumpkins in front of Disneyland and Oogie Boogie himself in front of Disney California Adventure!

So if you thought you needed a park ticket to experience Disney Halloween… think again! There are so many ways to soak up the Halloween magic without entering a park.

From the Red Carpet to the Interviews: Our Coyote vs. Acme Premiere Experience

So much love for this movie and this incredible cast! Did you know Coyote vs. Acme was actually completed in 2022 and was originally scheduled for a 2023 release? Then, in late 2023, Warner Bros. announced they were canceling the release entirely and shelving the completed film as a tax write-down.

The decision sparked major backlash from fans, artists, and filmmakers who were frustrated to see a completed creative project essentially erased.

Coyote vs. Acme Review: The Movie Hollywood Almost Never Let Us See!

Get ready to laugh, because this film is absolutely Looney TUNES! Coyote vs. ACME is a hilarious celebration of the ultimate underdog, Wile E. Coyote, packed with gags, slapstick comedy and classic cartoon fun that fans know and love. I especially love seeing so many classic Looney Tunes characters make appearances throughout the movie. The combination of live action and animation is so much fun and reminds me of Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Mary Poppins. As a fan of cartoon adventure films like Space Jam, I loved this and recommend it to other cartoon fans.

We Stepped Into the Magical World of Disney’s HEXED at D23!

At D23, we got a first look at one of Disney Animation’s upcoming movies that we are already SO excited about Hexed! The film follows an unconventional teenage girl who discovers she has secret magical abilities. Once her powers are unleashed, she is thrown into a mysterious witch realm called Hexe, where she and her mother uncover family secrets and mysteries that could change the world of witches forever.  Check out our video here.

Last Thursday, we shared our reaction to the new series Coven Academy, and after getting a first look at this exciting new show, we thought it was time to break down the cast something we LOVE to do! Coven Academy premieres on Freeform October 1, with new episodes streaming the next day on Disney+ and Hulu. D23 Takes Over Disneyland: Our Magical Day in the Parks

D23 Day at Disneyland was absolutely magical!  Our day was filled with so many unforgettable moments, from seeing the beautiful Sorcerer Apprentice Mickey Mouse Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade balloon that will be featured in this year’s 100th Thanksgiving Parade, to taking tons of photos, enjoying the Disney Legends Cavalcade, and meeting some iconic Disney Legends!  We also celebrated the premiere of Camp Rock 3 on Disney Channel tonight, rode some of our favorite rides, ate all of our Disney favorites, and of course, spent time with our favorite characters.  What a fantastic way to kick off a weekend full of fun, memories, and Disney magic!

D23 Day 3: The Magic, Memories & Moments We’ll Never Forget

Last day of D23 was nothing short of magical! From exploring even more fun activations and checking out a few amazing panels, to seeing so many sweet friends and meeting the voices behind Mickey and Minnie Mouse!  And of course, our attire was a little love letter to all things Disney Channel! We took inspiration from the DCOMs, TV series, and the amazing casts we’ve grown up loving. It felt so special getting to bring a little piece of that nostalgia with us to D23!  We wrapped up the night with the Hey Jonas live podcast, which was the perfect way to end an unforgettable weekend!  What an incredible 3 days filled with pure Disney magic, fun, memories, and SO much to take in!  Until next time, D23!  See all the fun we had here.

D23 Day 2: A Day Full of Disney Magic, Surprises & Unforgettable Moments

Today we started the day with our Camp Rock 3 cast seeing their panel and meet & greet, dancing with the DWTS cast, and checking out the Percy Jackson panel!  We also explored activations for the new movie Hexed and Mundo Pixar, and it was truly the perfect day. And of course, our look today was all about bringing it back to the Mickey Mouse Club!  With Disney bringing back this iconic club, we couldn’t be more excited to see what’s ahead! The panels, the activations, and getting to see our Camp Rock 3 cast again, it’s all been pure Disney magic!  See all the fun we had here.

D23 Day 1: The Ultimate Disney Fan Experience Begins!

Get Ready for D23! Day 1 was absolutely magical! We dressed in our best Sorcerer Mickey Mouse looks!  We saw so many friends, spent most of the day playing at the Disney Plus Hulu activations and photo ops, collecting pins, and making the most of every magical moment. We played games, visited our favorite Pixar characters, volunteered with Disney VoluntEARS for Make-A-Wish, danced with Mirabel from Encanto, explored incredible Disney Archives and costumes, and even made our way to Pandora!  See all the fun we had here.
