At D23, we got a first look at one of Disney Animation’s upcoming movies that we are already SO excited about Hexed! The film follows an unconventional teenage girl who discovers she has secret magical abilities. Once her powers are unleashed, she is thrown into a mysterious witch realm called Hexe, where she and her mother uncover family secrets and mysteries that could change the world of witches forever. Maybe it’s the mother-daughter adventure that has us especially excited because we absolutely love a good mother-daughter story!
The D23 Hexed activation was such a fun experience. We got to do a walk through, take photos with characters Billie and Alice Doe, and, of course, try our best to portray this magical mother-daughter duo. We also got to see some of the animated drawings and artwork from the film, and we were even given a very special animated drawing of Billie Doe to take home! We may just have to get it signed by Hailee Steinfeld one day.
Hexed features the voices of Hailee Steinfeld, Rashida Jones, Jodie Foster, Walton Goggins, Tracey Ullman and Stephen Fry. It premieres in theaters on November 25, 2026.
We can’t wait to see where this magical adventure takes Billie and Alice and we’ll definitely be watching when Hexed arrives in theaters!
