Happy Birthday Taylor!  It has been so fun getting to know you and interview you. We love watching you shine on Wizards Beyond Waverly Place and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish.  You are beautiful inside and out and always so kind. Last night truly showed how loved you are seeing everyone come together to celebrate you. It was a night we will never forget.  Thank you for including us! 

A Magical Return: Our Time at the Sofia The First Royal Magic Event

This morning we partied with Disney Jr. at the Sofia the First: Royal Magic premiere which premieres May 25 on Disney Jr. and Disney+!   Following Sofia as she attends the Charmswell School for Royal Magic, the new series features Sofia learning magic alongside new friends and returning favorite characters.  We ate Mickey waffles and so many other delicious foods and drinks, met the cast, saw so many friends, decorated our own Sofia crowns, danced to DJ Tessa and had the best time!  Thank you Disney Jr. and Disney+ for having us!  Let’s check out all the fun!  See all the fun we had here.

Eric Appel Talks Comedy, Casting & Chaos in The Breadwinner

It was so great getting to chat with Eric Appel, the director of The Breadwinner, which hits theaters May 29th! We talked all about the film’s incredible comedic cast, how he brought together so many talented actors, the fun Shark Tank connection in the movie, and so much more.  The conversation was hilarious, insightful, and gave such a fun behind-the-scenes look at what audiences can expect from this comedy. Definitely a movie to add to your must-watch list this summer! 

The Heart Behind The Breadwinner with Nate & Mandy

Last week I had the honor of interviewing Mandy Moore… aka Rapunzel! Rapunzel has always been my favorite Disney princess, so this was such a full circle moment for me.  I’ve been a fan of Mandy forever, from Saved!, The Princess Diaries, A Walk to Remember, This Is Us, and of course Tangled. When I was attending San Jose State, I waited ALL day in downtown San Jose just to be front row when she performed “Candy” Such a core memory for me!  Mandy stars alongside Nate Bargatze in The Breadwinner, and this is Nate’s feature film debut! He is absolutely hilarious, and the two of them were both so kind during our interview.

Come On Barbie, Let’s Go to The Grove

No better way I’d want to spend Mother’s Day than with my bestie, taking her to the Barbie x Edikted pop-up at The Gove in LA.  Don’t worry… the boys came along too! I grew up absolutely obsessed with Barbie, and I definitely passed that love onto Kennedy. If you know Kennedy, you know Edikted is one of her favorite brands (I’m not even going to count how many sweatshirts and tops she owns). So when we heard about this pop-up, we knew we had to go!  It was seriously the cutest experience ever exclusive apparel, adorable accessories, vintage Barbie memorabilia, and all the pink girl-power vibes. The employees were so sweet, and I’m so happy I got to experience it with Kennedy.  As a mom, I try every day to give Kennedy and Carter the childhood I always dreamed about, and making memories like this with them is truly my favorite thing in the world!  See all the fun we had here.

Swapped Review: A Fun, Heartfelt Adventure for the Whole Family

From the very beginning, Swapped is super fun and totally pulled me in! I love how funny it is, but also kind of sweet at the same time. There are parts that made me laugh out loud and other parts that made me feel a little emotional (in a good way!). It’s the kind of movie you can watch with your family and everyone will like it, which makes it even better. I didn’t want it to end!
