OUR STAY AT THE HYATT REGENCY ORANGE COUNTY

We just got back from spending four days in Disneyland for Pixar Fest and a special event that I went to Thursday night (you can read more about the event here). We always like staying somewhere close to the park. We were offered an incredible room at the Hyatt Regency Orange County. From the moment we drove up we were greeted with warm smiles, help unpacking our car and useful information we might need while staying at the Hyatt Regency Orange County. The lobby was gorgeous, beautifully decorated for Pixar Fest, and we were checked in quickly to our room. If you have been following along for a while you know we love this Hyatt Regency. It is honestly the best hotel in the Disneyland area!

You can even catch Carter and Kennedy in their online ads!
We stayed in a kids suite with bunk beds! The room was perfect for our family of four. It was so nice to have the extra space. The bottom bunk was a full size bed, the top bunk was a twin, and there was a separate king size bed as well. There was a fridge, microwave, flat screen TVs, and so much more. The room overall was amazing and the hotel was outstanding and so convenient. You could easily sleep 5 to 6 people in this room (if you put 2 people in each bed).  This kids suite was seriously unbelievable!

When we checked into our room the Hyatt surprised us with a tray of cookies and milk.  Thank you so much Hyatt for the extra treat.  The kids loved the cookies when we got to the room.

The Hyatt Regency Orange County is happy to assist with information on local attractions and events, including Disneyland, Downtown Disney, Anaheim Garden Walk, The Outlets at Orange, Anaheim Packing District, Knott's Berry Farm, local beaches, Bowers Museum, and so much more. There is even a Disney Desk where you can find all the latest information and buy tickets in advance to make the most of your day. There is also a Disneyland shuttle from the hotel to take you to the park and pick you up. I would highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Orange County if you want a great place to stay while visiting Disneyland this Spring and Summer.

The Hyatt Regency Orange County has several restaurants. There is TusCA for breakfast and dinner, where children 6 and under eat free. There is the OC Brewhouse, which was so nice and super cool. Parents can relax and enjoy a nice meal and a cocktail while kids can sit at a children's table, watch a movie while they eat and not be bored by their parents. It is the ideal place to wind down for families. Citrus Grove Deli has fresh made to go items like breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, salads, snacks, sandwiches, beverages and more. There is a Starbucks, which was so nice and convenient. There is also in room delivery and take out, and there is pool side service.

We grabbed breakfast every morning at the Citrus Grove. It was so perfect for us. Blake was always ready first in the mornings, so he would go down to the lobby and grab fruit, breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, and more. We would eat back in our room while we finished getting ready to ensure we had full bellies before heading off to Disneyland for the day.  Thank you so much Hyatt for the vouchers for breakfast.  The breakfast wraps are our favorite.  You can view the menu here.

There is a pool, jacuzzi, stayfit center, recreation deck with basketball and tennis courts, a heated pool, fire pits for roasting s'mores, and an oversized checkers game. The Hyatt Regency Orange County is very kid friendly. At Hyatt, the WiFi is free and fast, and it was simple to use, which is important for someone who relies on a steady and speedy internet connection. The Hyatt offers both valet and self parking. There is also a computer center and you can print boarding passes, get flight information, etc. There is a game zone with the latest arcade games and full of fun.

They also have an amazing gift shop if you want to pick up things you may have forgot to pack or just want to add some Disney magic to the room!
