Things To Do In San Diego

A couple weeks ago we went to San Diego for a few days because I attended an event at Legoland. We have always loved San Diego. Blake went to USD his first year of college, but with me still in high school we quickly realized it was a long 6 hour drive or expensive flight for us to see each other frequently. The following year Blake transferred to Santa Clara University and I went to SJSU and the rest is history. Blake's sister also went to USD, but transferred to Cal Poly and Blake's brother went to USD and actually played football, met his wife Ashley, and finished his undergrad at USD. We all have very fond wonderful memories of San Diego. Now that I am a Legoland Blogger Ambassador I am excited to hopefully visit San Diego more and enjoy all the wonderful things it has to offer.  I wanted to share some of our new finds from this past trip!  You can find this 'Greetings From San Diego' mural at 4225 30th Street.

Holy Matcha, an adorable cafe with the best pink lemonade, the most beautiful wall paper and gold and pink furniture was to die for!  I did not want to leave.  It was totally kid friendly and the employees were gracious enough to keep giving my kids those paper umbrella toothpicks that go in drinks.  My kids are obsessed with those.  It is located at 3118 University Ave.

Hammond's Gourmet Ice Cream we stumbled upon this shop and it was probably the best find of the trip.  They make it fun and easy to enjoy bite sized "flights" of different ice cream flavors.  It was so so so good!

Pigment was the best stop ever! It is an airy shop carrying a wide range of items for the home, from furniture to plants to kitchen supplies.  I wanted everything!  It is located at 3801 30th Street.

The first night we ate dinner in Little Italy at Monello.  It was really good.  It was located at 750 W Fir Street.

After dinner we went to Extraordinary Desserts and it was amazing.  It is located at 1430 Union Street.

Communal Coffee was a great find and this wall was just asking for a picture! The coffee shop features breakfast pastries & lunch items, plus an in-store boutique florist.  It is located at 2335 University Ave.

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla, which you can read all about here.  It was amazing.

We visited Sea World and you can read all about our fun here.

The second night we ate dinner at this amazing Mexican restaurant called Verdes El Ranchero and this background made me and Kennedy very happy.

We also visited the Unconditional Surrender Statue.

We visited Legoland for my first Blogger Ambassador event and it was so much fun!  You can read all about it here.
