EXPLORING SEA WORLD SAN DIEGO

Last week we went to Sea World San Diego. The last time we went to Sea World was in 2017 and the kids were so little. They did not remember anything about Sea World, so we knew it was time for another visit and boy did we make this visit memorable. Sea World is beautiful. I have always loved Sea World and sea animals. It is one of the top things to do in San Diego with rides, animals, shows, dining, and special events. We spent the day exploring all that Sea World has to offer. We loved the dolphin and orca shows, feeding sea lions and bat rays, seeing penguins, octopus, walruses, sharks, turtles, and more. But the best part about our day was when we did a special encounter with beluga whales.  We were escorted into a back area where we got to learn about beluga whales, feed them, pet them and so much more.  The kids said it was the best and I would have to agree.  We are already planning our next Sea World trip and deciding what special encounter we should do next.

I highly suggest you download the Sea World app on your phone or get a park map when you enter the park.  I also highly suggest visiting the Pretzel Shop.  They had the best regular and jalapeno pretzels!

Since this was coolest experience we have ever done, we are going to start with the beluga whale encounter!  This special encounter is a separate from your admission into the park.  I suggest booking in advance because space is limited.  You can do it online here.  To be that close to a beluga whale and feed it, pet it and spend time with these beautiful animals was amazing.

I love this photo!  It looks like the beluga whale is just as excited as Kennedy!

Even Blake got in on the action!

I think you can tell from my face how much I LOVED this!

This is where you can purchase fish and feed the sea lions.  I love doing this too.  Check out the sea lion in the back joining us in the photo!  I love it!

Time for some bat rays!

After the orca show you can go down below and view these beautiful animals through a glass.  It is just amazing.
