We decided last minute to go to Disneyland and Newport Beach during the kids spring break and it did not disappoint. We had the best time. Disneyland and Newport Beach are probably my two favorite places in California. Newport is one of my favorite destinations. The food, the shopping, the people, the location close enough to Disneyland, San Diego, Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach and so much more. I wanted to share my favorite places to eat, shop, and stay while we visit Newport Beach and check out all the fun we had.
We stayed at the Marriott Newport Coast Villas. It is one of our favorite resort hotels. There are pools, a surf shake, cottage and teen lounge arcade, La Vista Bar & Grille, a marketplace, a spa, sandbox areas, a putting green, basketball courts, fire pits, volleyball court, tetherball, and a play structure. You can feed the koi fish daily, there are daily fitness activities, pool side bingo, ping pong tables and more. I can't even begin to describe how family friendly this resort is and it is perfect. There is so much to do at this resort that you don't even have to leave the hotel, but we did anyway!
We arrived on Saturday and went straight to South Coast Plaza for a little shopping, carousel riding, and we picked up Maggianos, which is directly across the street. It is one of our favorite places to eat.
We love B.Candy. It has a great gift shop, ice cream, candy and more.
Outside of B.Candy they had this adorable Easter themed photo opportunity and we could not pass it up!

On Easter Sunday we had a quick egg hunt inside our hotel room, opened Easter baskets, had breakfast and went to Disneyland for the rest of the day and night. You can read about our Disneyland day HERE.
I found this adorable list Kennedy made for Disneyland. I think we checked it all off and more!
On Monday we lounged by the pool at our hotel. We enjoyed the sun, swimming, relaxing and amazing pool service. I am a sucker for pool service! I highly recommend the Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos and Turkey BLT.
On Tuesday we shopped at Fashion Island, visited Balboa Island, and Lido Marina Village.
On Wednesday we went to Irvine Spectrum and shopped and had so much fun. These three rode the giant ferris wheel while I shopped.
Kennedy loves Hello Kitty and visiting this adorable cafe is always fun!
On Thursday we went back to Lido Marina Village and took a little boat out on the water and had lunch on the boat and had so much fun. You can find out more about the Electric Boat Rental HERE.

We were leaving Lido Marina Village and I ran into Heather from Housewives of Orange County. She is my favorite! This is the third time I have run into her in Newport (on 3 different trips). I think it's obvious that we are meant to be best friends.
We decided to take a drive to Huntington Beach and visit Polar Playground. They just don't make amazing cotton candy creations, they have milkshake, ice cream and more! Watch the video HERE.
On Friday we went to LA to the Century City mall. We were invited to an event for Camp LA and we had the best time. Check out more here about Camp LA. You can read all about Camp LA HERE.
