Last week we spent 4 days visiting the happiest place on earth! It was our first time returning to Disneyland since the parks opened in April. We stayed at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel. It has been years since we stayed there and it was beautiful, easy, convenient, and amazing. We did not want to leave. What I love most about this hotel is the easy access to the Downtown Disney District and theme parks thanks to the close proximity of the hotel. It is so nice. Toss on a pair of Mickey ears and let me tell you why you need to stay at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel.
From the moment you drive up you are greeted with a warm smile and help with your luggage. There is the option of valet or self parking. Check in was a breeze and we even asked for a room on the first floor so we would not have to take an elevator due to precautions we are taking and they were happy to accommodate us. It was so nice and we were very grateful.
Our room was amazing. It had two queen beds, a couch, a chair with a sitting area, a closet, a spacious bathroom and so much more. The rooms came with a fridge, Keurig, blow dryer, steamer/iron, double headed shower, and our view on our patio faced the pool area. It was perfect.

I loved the stool for little kiddos to reach the sink and be able to wash their hands and brush their teeth!

Go for a dip in the crystal clear Redwood Pool. Retreat to the tranquil Fountain Pool located amid woodsy grounds, bricked walls and rugged boulders. The Mariposa Pool features a companion hot tub plus private cabanas, available to rent for an additional charge.

We have not attended the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose, but I have had dinner at Napa Rose and it was amazing.
We have eaten at Storyteller's Cafe several times. We mostly eat breakfast there for the character buffet breakfast, but I have also had dinner there several times. Craftsman Grill is so great! You can grab to-go items or dine indoors or outside.
I love the lobby at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel. It is so beautiful and listening to the pianist play Disney Halloween melodies was so fun.

One of my favorite things that Disney's Grand Californian Hotel has during the Halloween and Christmas season is a larger than life cake on display in the lobby! Every year it is different for Halloween and Christmas. There are always hidden mickeys all over the front and back and it is so much fun to search for the hidden Mickeys. Everyone is welcome to visit the lobby and see the cake during Halloween and Christmas time.
