My sister and I both grew up playing with Barbies. We had the Barbie Dream House, more Barbies than we could count, clothes, accessories, furniture, and more. I loved Barbies as a child and I still do. I loved dressing them up, styling their hair, and using my imagination to its fullest. Kennedy loves Barbie and has lots of furniture pieces, clothes, accessories and more that belonged to me and my sister when we were younger. I love to see that Mattel and Barbie make things that last for generations to pass down and enjoy. I wanted to share some of our new favorites with you.

I love how Barbie has evolved over the years, for example with Barbie Fashionistas. It is the most diverse Barbie line and it features more skin tones, hairstyles, and body types. There are 176 different dolls, 9 body types, 35 skin tones, and 94 hairstyles. They even included dolls with physical disabilities. I never owned a doll that was in a wheel chair or that had a physical disability and now Kennedy has one and I think it is so special. I think by playing with a variety of dolls with different skin colors, genders or disabilities it helps children including Kennedy look for what they have in common with others and not how they are different. Playing with Barbies encourages your child to practice kindness, caring, and helping as they play.

The Barbie Color Reveal comes with 7 surprises and the Barbie Chelsea Color Reveal comes with 6 surprises. A gorgeous mermaid doll is guaranteed, but each doll's look remains a mystery until revealed. The packaging is part of the fun - pull the strip to remove the outer layer and reveal a clear tube. Kennedy already has the DreamCamper, but was so excited to receive this 3-in-1 DreamCamper. Give the bright pink camper a push to get the fun rolling. When it's time to explore, unlatch the front of the camper to reveal a pickup truck that seats four. Peek underneath the backseat of the truck to find a boat that's perfect for a fishing trip!
