Happy 6th Birthday Kennedy

Kennedy turned six today. I can't believe she is six years old. She is the sweetest, kindest, strongest little girl I have ever laid my eyes on (you can read about her Valley Children's Hospital stays here and here).  Everyday with her is a blessing.  Every night I thank GOD for her and that we got to celebrate another day, and now another year with her.  She is my biggest cheerleader, always dancing, acting silly, and she just loves life to the fullest. Her favorite toys to play with are Barbie and American Girl dolls. She loves to play dress up and her favorite show is Barbie Dream house Adventures. Kennedy has been doing so well during this pandemic. She finished kindergarten and she is so smart. She enjoys making crafts and being home. Since we are still in quarantine we did not have a birthday party for Kennedy. We are usually in Hawaii every year for her birthday, so she never has had a real birthday party. This year since we are home and not traveling or going out, we threw her the best JoJo Siwa birthday party ever! Kennedy woke us up bright and early at 5:47am. We made cinnamon rolls for breakfast and I had a fun scavenger hunt planned out for her to find all 13 of her birthday gifts. We ate lunch outside and swam the rest of the day in the backyard. Blake's parents came to visit and joined us for pizza for dinner. Then we had cake for dessert. It was a great day and she loved every single minute of it.

A new birthday Barbie

JoJo gifts were a must!

These were the clues for Kennedy's scavenger hunt to find her birthday gifts.  She loved it.

Birthday candles in the backyard.  Thanks Sophie.

These beautiful genuine gemstone bracelets can be found here on IG.  The quality is amazing and they fit Kennedy perfectly. Moon and Stone can be found on Etsy here.

I am so proud of myself.  I made her birthday cake since we are not eating out or ordering take out from anywhere.  It was Funfetti and she loved it and that is all that matters.
