Everything You Need To Know About Great Wolf Lodge

Last Thursday we were invited to a blogger/media event at Great Wolf Lodge for "Kids Take Over The Kitchen Day" and we were so excited to attend. This was our first time visiting Great Wolf Lodge and it did not disappoint. Carter and Kennedy are already asking when we will be going back. There is so much to at Great Wolf Lodge and the entire hotel is amazing. I am going to share all the fun we had, along with some holiday stuff coming up! Did you know Great Wolf Lodge has 18 properties across the US and Canada?!

How cute are their Great Wolf Lodge shirts that I made?!

We arrived first thing in the morning and we were greeted with wolf ears, paw passes to do absolutely anything and everything at Great Wolf Lodge and more! We could not wait to explore and check everything out.

I was so happy my friend Jenny and her family were also at the event.  I love spending time with Jenny and our kids love being together.

We first went to MagiQuest and got to pick any wand we wanted to keep. Carter picked a blue wand, Kennedy picked a pink wand and mine was silver and gold. There are quests throughout the entire hotel that you can do with your wand, so the kids loved exploring, making things light up, collecting items and completing quests.

There is also Ten Paw Alley, Laser Frenzy, Howl At The Moon Glow Golf, Clubhouse Crew, Howly Wood XD Theater and more that we did not even have time to explore. There is also an Iron Horse Fitness Center and Scooops, a kids spa that is just adorable!

The kids loved playing in the Northern Lights Arcade. There were great prizes with the biggest and best games!

We loved Creation Station where the kids got to create and keep their very own Great Wolf Kids character. Kennedy got to take home two and Carter made one. We loved this experience.

We also got to visit the new Candy Company and it is full of sweet treats. We got to fill up a cup of candy with whatever our hearts desired.

There was also a glitter tattoo station and bracelet making station and my kids loved being able to pick whatever bracelet they wanted and putting their name on it was so fun.

If you are staying at the hotel there are so many activities and fun for the whole family. Make sure you check out the character appearances, Wake Up With Wiley and Friends, Lunch Time Lineup, PJ Party With The Great Wolf Kids, Story Time, and The Forest Friends Show. There are also several stores with everything you could want right at the hotel.

Since this event was about Kids Taking Over The Kitchen we got to meet the head chef Hany and he shared so much information about the food at Great Wolf Lodge. Great Wolf Lodge goes above and beyond with anyone that may have a food allergy. They can do anything gluten free, nut free, dairy free, etc. The lunch that was served to us was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. There was a special guest and sou chef helping chef Hany in the kitchen throughout the day and that was Parker Bates from This Is Us on NBC. He plays young Kevin on the show. He was a pleasure to meet and hang out with during the day. He was so kind to all of the kids and his mother was so nice.

After lunch the kids got to go in the kitchen with chef Hany and Parker and make special rice krispie treats that were shaped as wolf ears. The kids were so excited to make them and decorate them with white chocolate and chocolate sauce. They were so yummy!

And the day could not get any better because I got to hang with two of my blogger besties Jenny and Kim

No trip to Great Wolf Lodge would be complete without some water fun! After lunch we were given a cabana and we explored the rest of the day at the indoor water park! It was truly amazing. There is the Howlin' Tornado, Coyote Cannon, Wolf Tail, River Cannon Run, Alberta Falls, Wolf Rider Wipeout, Totem Towers, Fort Mackenzie, Mountain Edge Raceway, Raccoon Lagoon, Slap Tail Pond, Crooked Creek, Big Foot Pass, Chinook Cove, Whooping Hallow, Cub Paw Pool, and more.

Kennedy knows how to swim very well, but just as a precaution I made her wear a life jacket.  It is so nice that Great Wolf Lodge offers life jackets and towels!  Plus, there are life guards everywhere!

There are some great activities coming up for Halloween so make sure you check them out here.

If you are looking for something fun to do this Christmas, Great Wolf Lodge has some fun things planned!  You can read about the Snow Land adventures here, there is also a North Pole University, The Polar Wolf Walk, and more!  You don't want to miss Christmas time at Great Wolf Lodge with hot cocoa, a snow show in the main lobby, a gingerbread house and more.  Plus, I am sure everyone wants to see Santa surf!

I would definitely purchase the Paw Pass, Wolf Pass or Pup Pass, which allows your kids to do all of the fun activities without you carrying around your wallet! You also save money by buying as a package.  It's a win-win for everyone!
