Saved By The Max

If there is one show that I LOVED in the 90's it was Saved By The Bell. I had posters in my room, books, magazines, dolls, the board game, and I still currently have the entire dvd collection of the entire sitcom (and yes I still watch them)! When I heard about a Saved By The Bell pop up restaurant that started in Chicago that is now in LA I knew I needed tickets right away. Blake bought me four tickets and I took my sister and two friends. We had the best time eating at The Max. It looks like The Max that was on the TV show. The attention to every single detail was amazing and I could not stop smiling all night.

Waiting for Saved By The Max to open

There were several televisions playing different episodes of Saved By The Bell

Saved By The Max is open Tuesday through Sunday from 5pm to 11pm. I recommend getting a reservation right at 5pm because you will be among the first people allowed in the restaurant and have The Max all to yourself for lots of walking around, checking everything out, and photo opportunities. Our reservation was right at 5pm and we were the first ones in the restaurant. They keep the door closed to the restaurant and all windows are covered so you can't see inside and you are surprised once you enter. If you get there early and it's not your reservation time they make you wait outside and will open the door when they are ready for you, so this is why I recommend a reservation right at 5pm when they open. They also have a huge counter top that is walk-in only. So, if you want to go alone or just with another friend you can possibly walk in, sit at the counter, order and enjoy The Max. You don't have to buy a ticket to sit at the counter. Otherwise, you have to buy a ticket and make a reservation here.

When I wake up in the morning and the 'larm gives out a warning, I don't think I'll ever make it on time. By the time I grab my books and I give myself a look, I'm at the corner just in time to see the bus fly by! It's alright 'cause I'm saved by the bell!

OMG Zack Morris' cell phone

Kelly Kapowski was my girl!

I love how the lockers were decorated and it had props that represented each character

The food was so good. With each ticket you get an appetizer and entree. Everything was delicious. My sister had the Mac & Screech and the Preppy Pastrami, I had the A+ avocado salad and Bayside Burger (Jenny had the exact same as me), Janielle had Poutine Engel and Tori's Fried Chicken. Drinks and dessert were not included, but everything was amazing and the staff and servers were accommodating, helpful, and overall awesome.

The photo opportunities are just incredible. There is Belding's Office, lockers, props, and so much more. Make sure you take your time and get your photo with everything! You can also eat in Mr. Belding's office. I am so happy we ate in the main room, which was The Max, but if your reservation is later in the night and The Max is full you will probably get stuck eating in Mr. Belding's office. So that is yet another reason I suggest making your reservation right at 5pm.

I loved the memorabilia that they had in a glass case.  My sister and I still have some of this stuff.

They had tanks, shirts, hats and sweatshirts for you to purchase

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. I look forward to going again. Remember to get your tickets ASAP because it won't stay around forever. It will be popping up in Las Vegas or NYC next. Also, the drive was so easy and it was not hard to find and the parking at West Hollywood Gateway is an underground garage that is so convenient and perfect.  Saved By The Max is located at 7100 Santa Monica Blvd West Hollywood CA 90046
