Our Visit To The Waikiki Aquarium

This morning we visited the Waikiki Aquarium. We have been enjoying our stay in Oahu and usually visit Oahu once a year and we have never visited the aquarium. It is nice to break up the routine of playing by the beach or swimming every day. The kids loved the aquarium

This screen shows you all the special events happening for the entire month of June

This aquarium has award winning exhibits that are home to thousands of living aquatic wonders from the Pacific. We were able to see jellyfish, fish, seahorses, octopus, sharks, and more up close. It is an easy walk from anywhere in Waikiki. It is also located on the city bus and Waikiki Trolley route. There is an adorable gift shop in the aquarium

The hours of the aquarium are 9am to 4:30pm daily. Adults (ages 13-64) are $12, Juniors (ages 4-12) are $5, Seniors (age 65+) or anyone with a disability are $5, active duty military (must show current ID) are $8, Kama aina (ages 13-64 and must show current ID) are $8, FOWA Members (must show current ID) are free and children under the age of 3 are free.

The aquarium is nestled at the foot of Diamond Head at the quiet end of Waikiki. The address is 2777 Kalakaua Avenue Honolulu, HI 96815

The next time you are visiting Oahu be sure to make some time to visit the aquarium.
