Our Stay At The Hyatt Regency Orange County

Last week we went to Disneyland and we wanted to stay somewhere close to the park. We were offered an incredible room at the Hyatt Regency Orange County. From the moment we drove up we were greeted with warm smiles, help unpacking our car and useful information we might need while staying at the Hyatt Regency Orange County. The lobby was gorgeous, beautifully decorated for Christmas, and we were checked in quickly to our room.

We stayed in a kids suite with bunk beds!  The room was perfect for our family of four. It was so nice to have the extra private space. The bottom bunk was a full size bed, the top bunk was a twin, and there was a separate king size bed as well. There was a fridge, two 37" flat screen TVs, and so much more.  The room overall was amazing and the hotel was outstanding and so convenient.

The Hyatt Regency Orange County is happy to assist with information on local attractions and events, including Disneyland, Downtown Disney, Anaheim Garden Walk, The Outlets at Orange, Anaheim Packing District, Knott's Berry Farm, local beaches, Bowers Museum, and so much more. There is even a Disney Desk where you can find all the latest information and buy tickets in advance to make the most of your day. There is also a Disneyland shuttle from the hotel to take you to the park and pick you up. I would highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Orange County if you need a great place to stay while visiting Disneyland.

The Hyatt Regency Orange County has several restaurants. There is TusCA for breakfast and dinner, where children 6 and under eat free. There is the OC Brewhouse, which was so nice and super cool. Parents can relax and enjoy a nice meal and a cocktail while kids can sit at a children's table, watch a movie while they eat and not be bored by their parents. It is the ideal place to wind down for families. Citrus Grove Deli has fresh made to go items like breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, salads, snacks, sandwiches, beverages and more. There is a Starbucks, which was so nice and convenient. There is also in room delivery and take out and there is pool side service.

We grabbed breakfast every morning at the Citrus Grove.  It was so perfect for us.  Blake was always ready first in the mornings, so he would go down to the lobby and grab fruit, breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, and more.  We would eat back in our room while we finished getting ready to ensure we had full bellies before heading off to Disneyland for the day.  You can view the menu here.

Any hotel that has a Starbucks is a win in my eyes!

There is a pool, jacuzzi, stayfit center, recreation deck with basketball and tennis courts, a heated pool, fire pits for roasting s'mores, and an oversized checkers game. The Hyatt Regency Orange County is very kid friendly. At Hyatt, the WiFi is free and fast, and it was simple to use, which is important for someone who relies on a steady and speedy internet connection. The Hyatt offers both valet and self parking. There is also a computer center and you can print boarding passes, get flight information, etc. There is a game zone with the latest arcade games and full of fun.

The Hyatt was so kind to provide us a s'mores kit.  The kids were so excited.  They also stocked our fridge with an assortment of beverages, which was so very nice of them.

By the looks of these smiles, I think these two had the best time at The Hyatt, and Disneyland of course.  They are still talking about the bunk beds!
