Carter's 5th Birthday Party

Just typing the title of this post tears me up! I cannot believe we had Carter's 5th birthday party this past week!  We celebrated with family and lots of friends at SkyWalk in Madera. We chose the private party package and I loved it. The entire arena was reserved just for our guests. I thought it was worth every penny to just watch our family and friends jump and visit and not see other random people in the arena. Everyone jumped, played, laughed, visited, danced, ate pizza and yummy cupcakes, and overall had a great time. Thank you to everyone who came and took time out of their busy Wednesday night to celebrate Carter's birthday. It meant so much to have all of you there. Thank you again!

Carter knew exactly what he wanted this year:

1) A party at the "jumping place," which is what he calls SkyWalk
2) A Jake and the Never Land Pirates theme party
3) cheese pizza
4) cupcakes with blue, yellow, and red frosting

I think I did pretty good at making all of his wishes for his 5th birthday come true! We love you Carter!

Carter's entire party was sponsored by Shindigz, an online party supply store.  They made it so easy on me.  I went online once Carter selected what theme he wanted for the party.  I was able to order all the balloons, table cloths, plates, cups, napkins, silverware, favors, cupcake toppers, those awesome blow up treasure chests, inflatable swords, backdrops, table decor, and more all on their website!  I did not have to drag the kids out in this hot Fresno heat, push them around in some dirty cart at a party supply store while I tired to remember everything I would need for Carter's party.  Instead, I sat at my computer and just added everything to my cart and it was shipped right to my front door.  It was amazing and Shindigz totally rocks!  They made life so easy on me.  Thank you again Shindigz.

The adorable favor tags were provided by From The Hart Design on Etsy.  Crystal is a mom of two and makes invitations, birth announcements, thank you cards, boy burp cloths, favor tags, and more.  She was so easy to work with and did an amazing job on these favor tags.  They were just perfect on the cups.  Each cup came with a crazy loop straw and Pirate's Booty.

These cupcake toppers were little plastic rings from Shindigz

Here is a look at the party room we had at Sky Walk that was all sponsored by Shindigz.

The kids loved this gigantic Jake!  The kids also got to take a blow up sword home with their cup.  The swords were a hit!  Thank you Shindigz.

How cute are these two jumpers?!

All the cousins made it to the party!

When it comes to planning a party I want to make sure I don't miss one detail!  With Laura's Party Shop on Etsy she can make any shirt to match your theme.  I was so happy she was able to make all four of us custom Jake and the Never Land Pirates themed shirts for Carter's birthday party.  Thank you Laura's Party Shop.  She was so easy to work with and even if you are not hosting a birthday party and going on a family trip or maybe going to Disneyland I am sure she would be happy to design shirts for you to wear! You can also follow Laura's Party Supply Shop on Pinterest.
