Our Trip Down South

This past week we took Carter to Disneyland, LEGOLAND, Sea World, and the San Diego Zoo. We had a wonderful time. We wanted to do one big trip with Carter before Kennedy arrives in May. The weather was great and since we went during the week the parks were not busy at all. We ate wonderful meals and just had a fabulous time being together. Here is a little scoop on our week.

We are no strangers to Disneyland. We have been taking Carter since he was 2 months old. He loves the characters, the rides, the churros, and so much more! We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and had a great time. Disneyland is our favorite!

Excited to watch the parade

Naples in Downtown Disney makes balloon animals. He loved his shark

The next night he wanted Ariel at Tortilla Jo's

LEGOLAND was fun.  Carter, being a boy and loving Legos, had a great time. There are lots of rides and it was a good time.

Sea World was amazing! Carter LOVED it! Carter is very into sea animals right now and he literally was so excited over everything we saw and every animal he got to touch or see up close. He loved the killer whale show and could not get enough of Sea World. I would totally go back to Sea World again soon just because he loved it so much and there is a lot to see and do, plus fun rides for kids. Yes, I have seen the documentary Blackfish, but Sea World is still awesome!

We went to the San Diego Zoo and it is HUGE! It is A LOT of walking and lots of uphill walking, which made it difficult. We were not prepared for how much uphill walking we were going to be doing in order to see the animals. We were able to see everything. Carter's favorite was the giraffes, of course. I don't think I would rush back to the San Diego Zoo anytime soon. It is a beautiful zoo with a bunch of animals, but it was a lot of walking and very spread out. I personally think once you see one zoo you have seen them all, except for the Tarongo Zoo in Sydney, which is amazing!
