DWTS

What a Monday! Last week I received tickets to the premiere for DWTS and invited Cherie, Natalie, and my sister in law, Ashley to attend with me. We had a great day. We arrived in Hollywood by 11am and decided to grab lunch at The Grove before we got in line for DWTS. As soon as we entered the mall, we saw Mario Lopez filming for Extra. The four of us girls were immediately asked if we would like to do a segment with Mario where he would ask us a question and we could win a $50 gift card to The Cheesecake Factory. Unfortunately we did not the get the answer right so no gift card for us, but filming and talking to Mario Lopez was so awesome. I was able to get my picture with him and then he took a group picture with all four of us girls. I found out that Extra films at The Grove in L.A. everyday. I will be visiting The Grove a couple times in the next month, so hopefully I will have a chance to be on Extra again! Seeing DWTS live never gets old. This was my 6th time going. We sat right behind the judges and you could see us on TV every time they filmed the judges. Poor Cherie did not get much camera time because she was seated directly behind Bruno. I have sat behind the judges 3 times now and I love it. You don't get to see the whole dance floor, but getting to talk with Len, Bruno, and Carrie Ann Inba during the show is so worth it... and of course you get to be on TV! My favorite couple of the night was Lacey Schwimmer and Kyle Massey! They were all very exciting to watch last night and since it was premiere night, you could feel the nerves, excitement, and adrenaline in the air. After DWTS, we went back to The Grove to eat dinner and watch a little bit of the Michael Bolton concert. He was performing at The Grove for free and it was amazing. What a great Monday!
