The Vegas

This past weekend we celebrated Blake's 31st birthday in Las Vegas with our sweet friends the Smittcamps! Blake and I can't even begin to describe in words how much fun we had with them and how much it meant for them to drop everything, get a babysitter for Aubrey, and fly to Vegas with Cherie being 3 months pregnant! We arrived at Palms Friday night and did not go to bed until after 4am after a long night of partying! We went to four clubs that night... Rain, Ghostbar, Moon, and the Playboy Club. We had the best time drinking and dancing the night away. Cherie and I met Stacy Keibler and got our photo with her. We also met Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster)and I got my photo with her. Soleil might have been one of the nicest celebrities I have ever met (of course right behind the beautiful Kim Kardashian). We also saw Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, and Michael Phelps, but they were unwilling to pose for photos with us. Ashton and Demi were so rude and even tried covering their faces so we couldn't take impromptu pictures of them. We saw Michael Phelps both Friday and Saturday night and he would not take photos, but at least apologized and acted sincere. We also saw Fantasia from American Idol and Tayshaun Prince from the Detroit Pistons. Saturday we laid by the Palms pool, people watched and had the best day relaxing in the desert sun. Saturday night we went to LAX at Luxor and celebrated Blake's birthday in style at midnight, then did some gambling afterward at Palms. Sunday we celebrated both Blake and Michael Jackson's (since BS was with us) birthday. We had lunch at Serendipity, went shopping at Juicy, and went to Madame Tussauds wax museum to see more celebrity stars! Overall, we had the BEST weekend. Vegas was the place to be. Brody Jenner, Bridget Marquardt, Ja Rule, Paris Hilton, tons of old bachelors and bachelorettes from the ABC show were all there this weekend. You can always run into someone famous in Vegas, especially at Palms. So many fun memories were made this weekend and I laugh just thinking about some of them right now. I can't wait for our next Vegas trip with the Smittcamps. Thank you Blake & Cherie for coming to Vegas and celebrating Blake's birthday. You guys are the best! Blake, Happy Birthday!
