I am SO excited to announce that I am officially part of the Broadway in Hollywood Influencer Program for the 2026–27 Season!
If you have been following us for a while, you know how much we LOVE Broadway. Last year, we saw seven productions, and we love sharing our experience through videos, reels and reviews. There is just something so special about getting dressed up, walking into the theater and watching a story come to life on stage.
Last night, Blake and Carter had a very special father-son date night at opening night of The Outsiders at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. Carter read the book and watched the movie in junior high, and even had to complete several assignments about the book, so getting the opportunity to experience the Broadway production was such a treat for him. And let's just say… these two greasers looked pretty good heading out for their night together!
Carter came home talking about the production, the music, the performances and how incredible it was to see a story he already knew come to life on stage. And now Kennedy has to read The Outsiders for school this year, so I already know we are going to have to see this amazing production again so she can experience it for herself!
THE OUTSIDERS is set in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1967 and follows Ponyboy Curtis, his best friend Johnny Cade and their Greaser family as they navigate life and conflict with their affluent rivals, the Socs. The story explores friendship, family, belonging, self-discovery and finding hope in a world that doesn't always feel like it has a place for you.
With a dynamic original score, incredible choreography and a powerful story at its heart, The Outsiders is a production that reminds us there is still “lots of good in the world.”
The Outsiders is playing at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre through October 18, with two acts and an intermission.
