Last night was one we will not soon forget! We had the incredible honor of attending the premiere of DreamWorks Animation’s Forgotten Island and working the press line, and we are still smiling from such a magical evening.
This was our first DreamWorks premiere, which made the night even more special for our family. To be invited and interview the cast and creators of this beautiful film was truly an honor. We were so excited to bring you along with us and share all of the fun from the evening.
The premiere took place at the brand-new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles, which was an incredible setting for such a special night. From the moment we arrived, there was such an exciting energy in the air. The museum itself was stunning, and seeing it all lit up for the premiere made the evening feel even more memorable.
We spent the evening chatting with so many of the incredibly talented people behind Forgotten Island. We had the opportunity to interview members of the cast as well as the filmmakers and creators who brought this story to life. We talked about friendship, memories, Filipino culture and mythology, the characters, the animation process, and so much more.

One of the things we have loved most about this movie is how beautifully it explores friendship, family, memories and the things we hold onto that make us who we are. Those themes made our conversations on the press line especially meaningful, and we cannot wait for you to see all of our interviews!
And yes, we got to see the movie for the second time! We loved Forgotten Island the first time we watched it, and seeing it again on the big screen made us appreciate it even more. It is filled with adventure, heart, humor, beautiful animation, mythology and so many wonderful messages about friendship and the importance of our memories.
Then came the after-party, and let's just say... we may have eaten way too much delicious Filipino food! From the incredible food and desserts to the fun atmosphere, it was the perfect way to celebrate this movie and the amazing people who worked so hard to bring it to audiences.
There was also a fun charm bracelet bar, music, and so many little details that made the celebration feel incredibly special. It was such a joy getting to celebrate alongside the cast, filmmakers, families and everyone who helped make Forgotten Island possible.
This entire experience was truly unforgettable for our family. We are so grateful to DreamWorks Animation. We loved getting to experience the premiere, work the press line, meet the talented people behind the film and share the evening with all of you.
