Goosebumps: The Vanishing Review on Disney+

Get ready for thrills and chills. Goosebumps: The Vanishing, the new chapter of the thrilling series, is now on Disney+ and Hulu. There are 8 episodes and I loved this new chapter. I was on the edge of my seat and could not wait to see what would happen next. The season begins when twins Devin and Cece are sent to spend a summer in Brooklyn with their divorced dad. From the moment they arrive, it's obvious that a threat is stirring and they quickly realize that dark secrets are among them, triggering a chain of events that unravel a profound mystery. As they dive into the unknown, Devin, Cece and their friends, Alex, CJ and Frankie find themselves entangled in the chilling tale of four teenagers who mysteriously vanished in 1994.

This chapter of Goosebumps is amazing. The cast is great, especially David Schwimmer. There is the perfect amount of action, horror, and intense scenes and some funny moments too. I like how Goosebumps: The Vanishing goes deep into the sci-fi genre. The series takes these classic stories into a modern setting, mixing a thrilling plot with humor and delivering the perfect balance of horror for its target audience of tweens, teenagers and adults. The series is really good. I watched it all in one day and once I started watching I could not turn it off. The cast is so good and they worked well together on screen. When I had the opportunity to interview them for the series they seemed to get along and joke with each other. I am sure working together on set was so much fun. I loved all the scenes and settings. Some of them were really thrilling, like on the underground subway and the basement scenes. Everything was so realistic and exciting to watch.

The main themes in this new series are the importance of friendship, family, following your heart, and telling the truth. I give Goosebumps The Vanishing 5/5 stars and recommend it for tweens, teens, adults and anyone who is mature enough to handle jump scares and light horror.
