Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care will we help. Only if we help can they be saved.
Ava Louise Murchison stars as Jane Garcia, a nine-year-old budding environmentalist on a quest to save endangered animals. Using her powerful imagination, Jane takes her best friends David, played by Mason Blomberg and Greybeard the chimpanzee on epic adventures to help protect wild animals all around the world. Jane is a live action/CGI blended series. It is rated TV-G and it is a perfect family series. There are 10 episodes and we watched them all in one day. Kennedy's favorite episode was the one about polar bears (episode 1). Carter's favorite episode was about whales (episode 6). I personally loved episode 2 about sharks. This series teaches you about saving endangered animals, friendships, family and to always do what's right.

We had the opportunity to interview Ava Louise Murchison and Mason Blomberg.
Taking her cue from Dr. Goodall’s lifelong mission, Jane sets out each day to make her world a better
place with the help of her best friend David and the irrepressible Greybeard, a
plush-toy chimpanzee who comes to life during the kid’s imaginative playtime missions in a series of ten 30-minute adventures. After watching this series we are inspired to help the environment, protect endangered species and make a difference in this world.
Each episode of Jane kicks off with an action packed fantasy adventure where we find our trio of explorers Jane, David and their beloved chimpanzee, Greybeard on a playtime mission in some far-
flung corner of the world. Their stories then return to the grounded reality of their daily lives, where the kids encounter friends, parents and neighbors whose own tales typically reflect on those taking place in their imaginative animal kingdom. It is the collision of these two worlds where Jane and David inspire and empower the people around them with the small changes they can make which, collectively, can improve the lives of the animal they’ve been studying. Each episode is then capped with a mini documentary highlighting the featured endangered species, the important work environmentalists are doing in the field and what kids at home can do to help.
Apple TV+ announced that three-time Grammy Award nominated singer Leona Lewis performs the new original theme song “One Step Closer,” with music and lyrics written by 14 time Academy Award nominated and Grammy, Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Diane Warren, in Apple TV+’s new series “Jane.” Warren has also pledged to donate a portion of her profits from the song to the Jane Goodall Institute, a global community conservation organization founded by Dr. Goodall which makes a difference through community-centered conservation and the innovative use of science and technology.
Jane's Endangered Animal Experience will be at the California Science Center. Jane’s Endangered Animal Experience is a hands-on exhibit based on Jane, the upcoming 10-episode mission-driven series for kids and families focused on a young girl named Jane Garcia inspired by the work of Dr. Jane Goodall. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the North American honey bee both its contributions to the environment and the challenges it is facing. Guests can also fly in a replica of Jane's high-tech pod vehicle, collecting pollen and evading predators just as she and her friends do in the series, as well as climb onto a custom-built, kid-sized model of a bee to get up close and personal with what makes these tiny creatures so incredible. Jane’s Endangered Animal Experience invites kids and families into a wonderful world inspired by the Apple TV+ series. It opens today.
Jane’s Endangered Animal Experience is located on the second floor across from the Life! Beginnings exhibit. This new exhibit is included with the California Science Center's free general admission.
