AppleTV+ Luck Premiere

Over the last couple of weeks we have been working with AppleTV+ on the upcoming movie Luck. We have interviewed the cast, screened the movie, and were so excited to be invited by AppleTV+ to attend the premiere and interview the cast LIVE on the green carpet. As a family we loved the movie and the kids were so excited to meet the cast in person and ask them some fun questions.

From Apple Original Films comes the story of Sam Greenfield, the unluckiest person in the world, who when she stumbles into the never-before-seen Land of Luck, sets out on a quest to bring some good luck home for her best friend. But with humans not allowed, her only chance is teaming up with the magical creatures who live there to do it.  We were honored to screen this movie over the summer for AppleTV+ and virtually interview the cast and be invited to the premiere to interview the cast on the green carpet.

The premiere was at Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles. We really love this theater. This was our third premiere at this theater and I love that there is a Starbucks next door and CPK across the street! There was a green carpet, a huge luck display made out of four leaf clovers and photos of the characters from the movie displayed all throughout the green carpet on the wall. It was so fun. AppleTV+ did an amazing job.

We checked in and found our spot on the green carpet. We have walked several movie premiere carpets before, but this was our first time with our name on the carpet and a dedicated spot for us to interview and ask questions. The kids were beyond excited!

We definitely were prepared. It helped that we had already seen the movie and interviewed the cast virtually. I made the kids a sheet with photos and names of the cast and typed out questions and I had it all laminated.

John Ratzenberger plays Rootie (a bad luck root and the self appointed mayor of bad luck). He is a legend! Did you know following his work as the snarky Hamm in Toy Story, and then the unscrupulous circus ringmaster P.T. Flea in A Bug's Life, Ratzenberger began to be considered a "good luck charm" for Pixar and the studio continued to bring him back for every one of its subsequent films?!  He did a couple of his famous voices for us and we were honored to be his presence.

Eva Noblezada plays Sam, the unluckiest person in the world, who discovers the Land Of Luck and must unite with magical creatures to turn her luck around.

Peggy Holmes is the director of Luck.

Adelynn Spoon plays Hazel (Sam's best friend and roommate).

Colin O'Donoghue  plays Gerry, a leprechaun who works with Bob.

Kiel Marray is the writer for the movie.

David Eisenmann is the producer for the movie.

It was a wonderful experience watching the kids ask questions and meet the cast and other celebrities. They had no problem asking questions and talking to everyone. They did a fantastic job. They said it was the best day ever.

Sarah Drew from the show Amber Brown on AppleTV+

Carsyn Rose from the show Amber Brown on AppleTV+

Terry Hu from Zombies 3

Emilia McCarthy from the Zombies franchise.  She remembered the kids from the Zombies 3 premiere.

Frankie McNellis from the movie 13 The Musical

Ava Kolker from Sydney To The Max on Disney Channel.

Lily Brooks O' Briant from Life By Ella

Peta and Max with their adorable son.  Love them on DWTS!

After all the interviews finished we went into the theater to see the movie. After the movie we were escorted to the land of luck (after party). There were bubbles, balloons, food, music, drinks, cotton candy machines, snow cones, candy, games, face painting and so much more! We sure felt lucky to be included.

It was so fun seeing Xochitl Gomez again.  We met her at the Minions premiere.  We love anything and everything Marvel, so meeting a Marvel superhero definitely tops the list of best things that happened this summer!  She always looks so amazing and she is so sweet.

Thank you AppleTV+ for including us in this amazing experience. We felt very lucky!

Luck will premiere on AppleTV+ on August 5th. I will have a full review of the movie coming us later this week!  The movie is rated G and it is 1 hour and 37 minutes.
