CHIP ‘N DALE: RESCUE RANGERS

A comeback 30 years in the making, Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers catches up with the former Disney Afternoon television stars in modern day Los Angeles. A hybrid live action/CG animated action comedy, Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers premieres tomorrow exclusively on Disney+.  We were so excited to be asked to screen the movie (thank you Disney+) and we loved it.  We want to share how to have a simple fun at home movie watch party for Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers tomorrow!

In Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, Chip and Dale are living amongst cartoons and humans in modern-day Los Angeles, but their lives are quite different now. It has been decades since their successful television series was canceled, and Chip has succumbed to a life of suburban domesticity as an insurance salesman. Dale, meanwhile, has had CGI surgery and works the nostalgia convention circuit, desperate to relive his glory days. When a former castmate mysteriously disappears, Chip and Dale must repair their broken friendship and take on their Rescue Rangers detective personas once again to save their friend’s life.

We loved this movie from beginning to end.  It was full of laughs and cameos.  I love how it gave a behind the scenes look at the real lives of Chip and Dale.  We loved the references from other movies and it is perfect for the entire family.  The movie is rated PG and it is 1 hour and 37 minutes long.

The film stars John Mulaney (“Saturday Night Live”) as Chip, Andy Samberg (“Palm Springs”) as Dale and KiKi Layne (“If Beale Street Could Talk”), Will Arnett (“Arrested Development”), Eric Bana (“Dirty John”), Flula Borg (“Pitch Perfect 2”), Dennis Haysbert (“24”), Keegan-Michael Key (“Schmigadoon!”), Tress MacNeille (“The Simpsons”), Tim Robinson (“I Think You Should Leave”), Seth Rogen (“Pam and Tommy”), J.K. Simmons (“Being the Ricardos”). The film is directed by Akiva Schaffer (“Saturday Night Live”), written by Dan Gregor and Doug Mand (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”) and is produced by Todd Lieberman (“Wonder”) and David Hoberman (“Beauty and the Beast”), with Alexander Young (“Extinction”) and Tom Peitzman serving as executive producers.

Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers will premiere exclusively on Disney+ May 20, 2022.

I love hosting an at home movie watch party for the kids.  They get so excited when a new movie or series comes out on Disney+.  I really wanted to have snacks that represented our two favorite squirrels, Chip 'N Dale!

These Nutter Butter cookies are delicious and shaped like a peanut.  What little squirrel does not like peanuts?!

Cupcakes are always a must!  These cute cupcake toppers made them complete.

Trail mix cones are so fun and easy.  All you need are some ice cream cones and fill them with a healthy trail mix.  Everyone will love these.

Rice Krispies Treat Pops! I made Rice Krispies and cut them into squares.  Then I added chocolate frosting and some fun sprinkles.  I added crushed up OREO cookie on top.

Add trail mix into a bowl for snacking or if anyone wants to add more trail mix to their ice cream cones to snack on during the movie.

So this weekend make some fun snacks and host a movie watch party and check out Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers on Disney+.
