Being a parent is HARD. It has been especially tough this past year, and our children probably have heard the word NO more than they would like. "No, you can't touch that! No, we can't go there! No, you can't do that! No! No! No!" So thanks to Netflix today we had a YES DAY where we made a promise to say "yes" to everything! YES DAY the movie premiered on Netflix yesterday. It stars Jennifer Garner, Edgar Ramirez, Jenna Ortega, Molly Sims and more. The movie is AWESOME! It is perfect for the entire family. We watched it last night and loved it. In an effort to help reestablish family bonds, the parents give their children a yes day where for 24 hours the kids make the rules! The movie will make you laugh and cry. It makes you treasure moments with your children, helps you realize it is okay to say YES, live in the moment, and enjoy life. I highly recommend this movie! It was so good. I encourage all of you to have a YES DAY! Come see what we said YES to today!
We started off with a fun YES DAY piñata party in the backyard! We made slime, had a water balloon fight, played with silly string, played a song on a kazoo and more!
