Make Your Spring Egg-stra Magical With Disney

Spring is here!  Easter is in 10 days! Looking to add a little Disney magic to your Easter basket or are you missing the annual Disney Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt that happens in Disneyland, DCA, and Downtown Disney every year?  I have you covered.  The Disney Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt is actually happening in Downtown Disney this year, but in case you can't get to Downtown Disney in the next couple of weeks I have some ideas on how to have your own Disney Eggstravaganza at home!  Also, check out some of my favorite items to celebrate the Easter holiday below … Hop to it!

We are really missing Disneyland, DCA and Downtown Disney.  We participate in the Disney Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt every year.  Carter and Kennedy each get a full set of 6 Disney eggs and it is so much fun to hunt for the eggs and collect them all.  Click here for my blog post from 2019 about the egg hunts in the parks in case you want to be prepared for next year.

This year the egg hunt is taking place only in Downtown Disney. The egg hunt is happening now until April 18th. Pick up your game board and stickers for $7.99 plus tax at select merchandise locations, including World of Disney®, Disney’s Pin Traders, Disney Home, The Disney Dress Shop or the newly reopened WonderGround Gallery. Have fun hunting for hidden “eggs” themed to Disney characters and placing the corresponding stickers on your game board. Whether you choose to hunt for eggs or not, return your game board to a redemption location—World of Disney® or Disney’s Pin Traders—for an egg-citing surprise—one of 6 collectible Disney character eggs.

Important Details
Purchasing limits will apply, and game boards are only available while supplies last. Limit of 10 game boards per person. One surprise per game board. Game board redemption valid through April 18, 2021. The experience is subject to restrictions and may change or be cancelled without notice.

Since we did not go to Downtown Disney this year, I purchased a set of the 2021 Disney Eggstravaganza eggs online.  It also came with the maps and stickers.  We decided to have our own Disney Easter Egg Hunt in our backyard.  I printed the Disney Character eggs that I have taken photos of in the past and I enlarged them, cut them out and glued each of them to a wooden stick.  I hid them all around our backyard and the kids had the best time trying to find them.  Once they found one of the Disney character eggs that I hid they could mark it off on their Disney map with their Disney character stickers.

Planning your own Disney Egg Hunt is fun, free, and it's an interactive experience! It offers printable eggs and a digital interactive map to “hunt” for eggs in the comfort of your own home!  Click HERE to get started!

If you want your Easter basket to be out of this galaxy, you’ll definitely want to include The Child Plush inspired by Grogu! This adorable little guy promises a bounty of fun! If you have a desire to be swept away in the magic of stories featuring your favorite Disney characters— from the Disney Bunnies and Winnie the Pooh to Monsters, Inc. and Cinderella— each of the twelve stories in this collection of 5-Minute Easter Stories is the perfect length for a jam-packed day, or for a quick wind-down before bedtime!

Here are some cute shirts that I found for the kids that I loved.

Whatever you’re doing to celebrate the day, I hope it’s spent with the ones you love.

Happy Easter to all my peeps!
