You may think tie dye is totally cool or not your style, but the psychedelic print from the '60s is back. It has become the quarantine fashion trend this spring. From tie dye lounge sets, rompers, tees, shorts and more, everyone is styling some sort of tie dye during this quarantine. Celebrities, influencers, and at home crafters are sharing how to DIY tie dye at home and everyone is giving it their stamp of approval.
We have had a lot of extra time on our hands. While some are tackling home projects or reading, we have been ordering everything and anything tie dye and crafting our own tie dye outfits too.
I like activities that spark joy for me and the kids and keep us entertained during this stressful time and tie dying has been so much fun. It gets our creative juices flowing. I love that every clothing piece we tie dye is unique and fun. Plus, we will look back at this time and remember that while we were social distancing and not leaving the house we tie dyed everything! Tie dye makes me happy and right now I think we could all use some happiness. I like designs that are colorful, happy and bright. It is a way to spark joy during these uncertain times.

Tie Dye is also an easy trend to DIY. All you need is a clothing item, rubber bands, and some dye. It is simple and not labor intensive. Part of the fun of tie dying is that no two prints look the same and if you mess up you still created something amazing. It is all about trial and error while having no expectations.
