spend less time in the kitchen and more time with your loved ones

These are definitely unprecedented times right now where we are at home, cooking a lot, and spending time with family. I have never spent so much time in the kitchen with my family before the last few weeks, so I have been searching for new easy recipes that don't require a lot of ingredients. After having the children home all week, cleaning the house, and taking care of everything else the last thing I want to do is be in the kitchen all evening cooking dinner. I just don't need anymore stress and I am sure none of you do either. That is why I started purchasing Foster Farms Air Chilled Chicken. Not only does it cook faster, but it tastes better and the texture is perfect so I am spending less time in the kitchen and more time with my family and eating quality healthy ingredients. If you know my kids they are super picky eaters, but they love this Foster Farms Air Chilled Chicken and there are so many different ways to cook it. This is a family favorite and it is so easy. Let me show you how to make BBQ Chicken.

If you ever wanted to know more about Foster Farms Air Chilled Chicken, air-chilling is a method for cooling chicken during processing. The benefits include better taste and texture, along with faster cooking time.  Since excess water is not absorbed during air-chilling (in comparison to water-chilled chicken), the natural juices in air-chilled chicken are not diluted and the texture is unaltered, which leads to more flavorful and tender pieces of meat.  It really is the best!

Ingredients: Foster Farms Air Chilled Chicken (I used thigh fillets), salt, pepper, 1 1/2 cups of BBQ sauce, 1/4 cup of honey, and 2 cloves of garlic minced.

Directions: Season chicken with salt and pepper to taste, then spread the thighs on a pan. In a small bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, honey and garlic. Pour a generous amount onto each chicken thigh. Bake at 425 degrees and cook until the chicken is cooked through, about 30-40 minutes.

For sides I either make a green salad, saute some vegetables, or make some rice.
