Right now we are obsessed with everything and anything How To Train Your Dragon. We got to see a VIP screening of the new movie and I recently went to a press junket at DreamWorks. You can read all about that here. The movies are all so good and I highly recommend them. They are great for the entire family. The kids have been getting spoiled with HTTYD merchandise and costumes, and recently we received an early copy of the Nintendo Switch game Dragons Dawn Of The New Riders. Carter has been playing it non-stop. The game is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
In this new game players take to the skies in an epic battle to save dragon kind from Eir, a fiery new foe who is determined to control all dragons to do her evil bidding. Alongside new friends Scribbler and Patch, players discover exciting new locations and return to old haunts, meet familiar characters, and clash with fierce enemies in this all new action-adventure.
Some of the key features of the game include: new authentic adventures, helping Scribbler recover lost memories and forge a friendship with Patch, his unique hybrid dragon. Epic battling by unlocking powerful abilities and taking on fearsome foes. Exploring vast new locations, flying to familiar locations, as well as new locations, including Havenholme, Valka's Mountain and Blood Briar Island. Solving puzzles, you can swap between Scribbler and his dragon Patch to conquer obstacles. The game is so good and I love that Carter is having to think about obstacles, planning ahead, and reading while playing this game. I think it challenges him and I highly recommend this game. Carter is 7 years old and is in first grade.
You can also join Hiccup and Toothless in a match 3 puzzle adventure available now in the Apple App Store or Google Play.
