We love making waffles as a family. We already own 3 Disney waffle makers. We recently added this new Disney Mickey Mouse and Friends Waffle Maker to our collection. This one is fantastic because it has a character design of Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Mickey Mouse, and Donald Duck! The waffles are a substantial size at 4 1/2 " and it makes 4 waffles at a time. I love that it has an adjustable browning dial, ready light, and it is so easy to wipe clean. We love this waffle maker and wanted to share an easy waffle recipe with all of you.
This recipe is a classic and it makes waffles that are perfectly crisp on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside.
Ingredients: 2 cups of all purpose flour, 2 tbsp sugar, 4 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 cups of warm milk, 6 tbsp unsalted butter, 1 tsp vanilla extract.
Directions: Preheat waffle iron. In a large bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt and whisk to combine. In a separate small bowl whisk the eggs and stir in the warm milk, melted butter and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and whisk until blended. Ladle the batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crisp. Serve immediately.
