My Holiday Spread Thanks To Sam's Club

This post is sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc but the content and opinions are my own.

The holidays are my favorite time of year. They are filled with family, friends, laughter, and of course food. My family loves the traditions we have established over the years, as well as making new ones. We love going around the table and saying what we are thankful for on Thanksgiving. What makes the holidays even better is that you can find everything you need and more for your celebrations in one stop at Sam's Club!

There are so many things my family loves to eat during the holidays. I really love making Tyson®   Cornish Hens. They are delicious and perfect for my family of four. I rub each Tyson®   Cornish Hen with butter and season with salt and pepper. I roast them in the oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the exterior is a nice golden brown. They are just so good.

I always like making a unique vegetable for the holidays. One of my favorites is Wright®   Brand Bacon wrapped asparagus. I buy Wright® Brand Bacon and wrap it around several spears of asparagus. I season with salt and pepper and drizzle some olive oil over the top of them. I place them on the oven at 400 degrees and cook for about 10-12 minutes until the bacon is crisp and the asparagus is tender.

We love stuffing in our house. I love making this easy Jimmy Dean®   Sausage and herb stuffing. You will need: 1/2 cup of butter, 3 stalks of chopped celery, 1 large chopped onion, 1/2 pound of Jimmy Dean®   Sausage chopped up, 1 teaspoon of dried sage leaves, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, 1 pound of french bread cut into 3/4 inch cubes (about 13 cups), and 2 cups of chicken broth.

Directions for the stuffing: Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a skillet melt butter over medium heat. Cook the celery and onion in the butter. Once vegetables are tender transfer them into a bowl. In the same skillet cook the sausage. Once sausage is cooked add it to the bowl and add salt, pepper, and sage into the bowl. Mix in the bread crumbs and chicken broth. Mix everything well and spread evenly into a baking dish and cook for 45 minutes.

Hillshire Farm®   Lit'l Smokies®   Smoked Sausage are always great for parties and entertaining.  Plus, my kids love them since they are bite size!  These are so easy to prepare.  I just place them on a pan and cook them in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.

So this holiday season when you are making that grocery list, be sure you check out some of these simple recipes and remember you can find everything you and need and more at Sam's Club.  Because it really is the perfect place to shop for small or large family gatherings.  Happy Holidays!
