Disneyland And Mickey's Halloween Party

We just spent four magical days in Disneyland. We literally rode everything, saw every show and did everything we wanted to do. We go every October and it is my favorite time of year to visit the parks. No matter how old I get each year, I always feel like a kid again in Disneyland and there is nothing more magical than watching and experiencing Disneyland through Carter and Kennedy's eyes. From the moment I feel the sunshine on my face walking down Main Street, venturing on to meet our favorite characters, Disney magic surrounds us every where we go. There is a castle straight ahead that always makes me feel at home. Journey through the gates to an enchanted land where flying ships sail to Neverland, cozy rabbit holes lead to wonderland, and a world that is small after all. It is a place where I think I have seen everything when I see an elephant fly and a wooden puppet dance with no strings, all it takes is a little pixie dust!

We arrived on Friday and had tickets to Mickey's Halloween Party. We go to this party every single year. It is a separate ticket event and I think it is worth the money. It is so fun. The tickets for Mickey's Halloween Party went on sale in June and we bought them the day they went on sale for annual passholders. You can't wait to buy tickets for Mickey's Halloween Party because this party sells out quickly. When the party starts, we go straight to Toon Town. All the characters in Toon Town are in special Halloween costumes that you do not see anywhere else. We loved Toon Town and the characters, we even met Max this year and we have never seen Max at Mickey's Halloween Party before, so that was a special treat. I also love Mickey's Halloween Party because when you check in at Tomorrow Land they have special merchandise for people who are going to the party. I always buy a shirt. They also have a special gift for annual passholders. I thought the buttons and art prints were too cute! Plus, they give you a bag to fill up with candy. We also watch the Frightfully Fun Parade and right after the parade is Halloween Screams (fireworks). There is also so much live entertainment, character meet and greets, and trick or treating stations.  It is certainly a spooktacular night!

This is the special merchandise you can purchase if you go to Mickey's Halloween Party.

Saturday, Sunday, and Monday we cruised around both parks ate all our favorite things and tried some new things. We saw great shows, parades, more fireworks, saw so many friends and met new friends. Took lots of photos (duh) and enjoyed some much needed family time!

We are already counting down the days until we go back! There is no place like Disneyland! Here is a look back on our annual photo with the Mickey Pumpkin.
