Ashley's Bridal Shower

A traditional pre-wedding festivity is a bridal shower. It is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the bride in a more intimate setting and help her prepare for married life and the wedding. It is also a fabulous time to spoil the bride, drink, eat, enjoy treats and visit with friends and family. My baby sister is getting married in October and I am so happy for her. I am her matron of honor and I wanted to make sure to do something special for her before the big day.

I knew right away I wanted it to be at a restaurant. I did not want to be stressed and worried about setting up, cooking, serving, cleaning up, etc. Max's Bistro and Bar has private rooms and I have been to several events at Max's Bistro and Bar, so I knew it would be the perfect place to host Ashley's bridal shower. The food was amazing, the drinks were great, and the desserts were out of this world. I did not have to worry about setting up tables, linens, dishes, or the food or drinks. It was simply incredible.

As for decor, I knew I wanted to do a fall theme since my sister gets married in October. I did beautiful flower bouquets with fall colors and pumpkins all down the center of the table. It certainly looked festive.

For the favors, I knew I wanted to get each girl something special and spoil them for taking time out of their Saturday afternoon to spend time with my sister. It is always appreciated when someone takes time away from their personal lives and families, buys a gift and comes to something you have planned and worked so hard on.
