Happy Happy Birthday Blake

Friday was Blake's 35th birthday. I don't even know where all the years have gone. It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating his 17th birthday together. So many very happy memories have been made throughout the years. My sister watched Carter and Kennedy so I could take Blake out to dinner for his birthday (thank you sissy). Then we came home and ate yummy caramel apples (Blake's favorite) and wished Blake a very happy birthday. Happy Happy Birthday Blake, I love you. You are truly the best husband and father. I look forward to celebrating every day and every year with you by my side.

Kennedy 3 Months

Today Kennedy is 3 months old. She is wearing size 2 diapers. She weighs 14 pounds and she is 24 inches long. She is wearing 3-6 month clothing and she is growing so fast. She is drinking 4 ounces at every feeding and eats every 4 hours. At bedtime (somewhere between 9pm and 10pm) she drinks 6 ounces and sleeps through the night most nights. She is a happy baby and loves her swing and bath time. We are truly blessed and love her so very much! Her smiles are contagious!

Kennedy's Baptism

On Saturday we baptized Kennedy at Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Fresno. It was such a special day. We feel so blessed to have a healthy, loving, happy baby girl. A very special "thank you" to his Godparents, Vance and Ashley Ahlem, for their commitment to ensuring that Kennedy grows up a faithful member of the Catholic Church. Thank you to everyone who came to witness her baptism and join us to celebrate at her reception at Piazza Del Pane. We had a wonderful time spending the day with our closest family and friends. It means so much to us that you took time out of your weekend to be part of our daughter's baptism and watch her become a child of God. A HUGE thank you to my sister Ashley for taking all the pictures for us. Another HUGE thank you to my mother in law Nikki and my father in law Steve for the beautiful center pieces for the reception. They looked amazing. Thank you Steve and Nikki for Kennedy's baptism gown and her head piece. She looked beautiful.

Happy Happy Birthday Carter

It has been crazy around here! Between Carter's Pump It Up birthday party last week, his actual birthday celebration on Friday, Kennedy's Baptism yesterday, writing thank you notes, finding a place for every new toy and gift that the kids got (for which we are so appreciative, thank you!), cleaning house, and just trying to stay on top of things it has been madness. I am looking forward to this week with nothing on my schedule and just hanging with the kids and playing, but Blake's birthday is the 29th so more celebrating to come and then I can I decorate for Fall!

Carter's 3rd Birthday Party

Just typing the title of this post tears me up! I cannot believe we had Carter's 3rd birthday party last night... wasn't he just born yesterday? My sweet boy! We celebrated with family and lots of friends at Pump It Up in Madera last night. We did the Glow in the Dark party and it was awesome. Each kid got a glow in the dark necklace from Pump It Up and then I passed out glow in the dark glasses for each child and a package of 15 glow in the dark sticks that they could use to make bracelets or necklaces. Let's just say the adults and kids were glowing! Everyone jumped, played, laughed, visited, danced, ate pizza, yummy cupcakes and overall had a great time. Thank you to everyone who came and took time out of their busy Thursday night to celebrate Carter's birthday. It meant so much to have all of you there. Thank you again!
